How do I recover a replaced word document?

Sorry about the problem you are having with Microsoft Word. Recent document locations will only work if the file has not been relocated and it seems your document has somehow moved or disappeared. I cannot stress how important saving your document as you are working on it. One possible option left is to see if Word has created an .asd file copy. Word automatically saves an .asd copy of your work just in case the computer crashes. Normally after a restart, Word will open up a recovery window pane, providing you with a list of recoverable documents. If it doesn’t try the steps below: 1. Open Microsoft Word 2. Click on the File Tab and Options 3. Select the Save option located in the Word Options dialog box 4. Under Save documents locate the AutoRecover File Location: and Copy it 5. Open up File Explorer (the folder is located on the Task bar) 6. Paste it in the address and hit the Enter key 7. Look for a folder with %20 (plus your file name) and Open it 8. Inside the folder look for the file with the .asd extension (will have %20 in the name) 9. Click on it once and Copy the file (don’t try an open it) 10. Navigate back to Word open a new blank document and Paste 11. Save the document 12. Double click on the text to continue typing.Maybe you can try uFlysoft Data Recovery for Mac, it can recover LOST DATA on Mac only in three steps:Step 1. What's the legality of a signed and scanned document compared to a paper document?

In today’s technologically savvy world, you are much more likely to do business with people that are geographically distant from you. Scanned documents are incredibly common and simplify the process for signing documents even if you are miles apart. Business wouldn’t be as easy to do without this convenience. There are pros and cons associated with each type of signature. As you point out a paper version could get lost while a scanned document is arguably easier for people of poor character to manipulate. I would encourage you to focus less on the signature, and more on the document you are signing as well as the individuals you are conducting business with. The contract you sign is the legally binding document. The signature simply indicates that you read and agree with it. To ensure that the document is fair, and sound you should consider the following:Be sure to read. Yes, all of it. While contracts can be incredibly lengthy, it’s critical that you actually know what it says so you are certain what you are agreeing to. Sometimes, people will try to slip in various clauses in hopes that you simply don’t notice. Don’t let this happen to you. It could make you responsible for things you haven’t discussed or could even cost you a considerable amount of money.Make sure you understand it. Reading it is only part of the deal, you should also understand it. Legal jargon or other business terms may not be familiar to you. Those terms have significant meaning and could impact the overall intent of the contract.Make sure you agree. Just because a document is given to you to sign, doesn’t mean you should. If you disagree with any aspect of the contract, you should ask for changes. You should then carefully review those changes.Ensuring that a legally binding document is properly completed and understood can be an incredibly complex task. It is best to consult a business attorney to assist you with this. That way, you can have a second set of eyes to look every the terminology a well as the intent of the document. Relying on their expertise could save you considerable time and money.LawTrades can help connect you with a skilled business attorney. How can i prove that a document has my forged signature on it in court?

Hi everybody.
a while ago I was in car wreck which totaled my vehicle and i was hurt, after i started feeling little better i started looking for a vehicle to purchase so i can get to work and I came across an ad for a car on craigslist for $8800 so i contacted the owner and we met up to see the vehicle then the owner agreed to finance me with $3500 down payment and 500 every month untill the car was paid off . anyways we went to the bank and i gave her 2500 dollars (my only savings) and told her i would give her the other 1000 the following week and we had the agreement signed and notarized.
the following week I contacted the owner to give her the other 1000 ( borrowed from a friend ) and get the keys to the vehicle.
to my surprise she completely blew me off, she started ignoring me not returning my phone calls. she just disappeared and i didnt have her address now i'm out 2500 and no car to get to work.
I was able to find her address through extensive and exhausting search online and driving to different adresses and i showed up unannouced to her apartment, boy she got really mad
it looked like she saw a ghost, she didnt want to talk and she slammed the door in my face.
i left but not before getting the police involved, she told the detective that she did give me my money back and she has a signed proof . how could it be? i never got anything, she must have forged signature, now i am wondering if what she has can hold in court as i am suing her for breach of contract for my money back and i learned she is once again trying to sell the car in a different state
any help is greatly appreciated thank you,

What is the difference between a scanned copy and a digitally clicked photo of a document?

Scanner software adds features to correct faults in a scan, e.g., dust or moire.  The platen tends to ensure that the scan is flat (no curls in the document) and lighting is even and consistent.  Other than that it is effectively the same.  Common examples are that ATM machines scan checks but banks also allow photographed checks as deposits using their apps.I suggest you speak to HR or others in your company who receive documents and ask if a photographed documents is acceptable.
