Having Kidney Pain Uhm

Should I go to school when trying to pass a kidney stone.........?

Go to school and drink plenty of water as kidney stones love water and that will stop any sharp, stinging and stabbing pains that you may perhaps be getting in your lower back. Very severe dehydration (as in saunas) can actually cause kidney stones.

Staying home tomorrow will not help as the stone will not necessarily come out tomorrow. Perhaps it might come out next week or next month or even much later. Most kidney stones eventually pass but some don't. Drinking plenty of water helps to encourage kidney stones to pass.

Can I sue my doctor for labeling me as a pain drug seeker for kidney stones?

Uhm. They aren't legally required to take you on as a patient. Also, do you think it will make him like you more if you sue him? Not to mention that you're hoarding the pills. Just find another doctor.

Weird pain near my kidney?

Keep drinking lots of water, and try to abstain from soda and really salty foods for a while. It may be a cramp or pulled muscle in the area around your kidney, not actually the kidney itself. Use a heating pad to relieve the tension, or buy a pack of those ThermaCare heat wraps and wear it while you're sleeping (they work great!).

If the pain persists, worsens, or you start noticing blood in your urine and running a low-grade fever, schedule an appointment with a doctor right away. The last two symptoms may indicate a kidney infection, which will need antibiotics to treat.

Be kind to your kidneys! I was hospitalized for having a kidney stone when I was 18, and have had problems with them ever since. It is not fun to go through!

Will there be blood in my urine while passing a kidney stone?

Not always, but your urologist or doctor will have you give a urine sample to see if you have an infection and can see any blood if there is any. They will look under a microscope. You can also have blood and be passing sand or very small stone fragment and not see it. My first real stone I bleed for 3 months, but it was just microscopic. You may even see your urine be a darker color or drops of blood. But don’t worry, this is not a problem. If you have a kidney stone passing drink 8 glasses of water every day to flush out the minerals that will bind to form a kidney stone. If you have kidney stones stop drinking anything with caffeine coffee, tea and soda which dehydrates you concentrates your urine leaving minerals in your kidneys that will bind together to form a kidney stone. Also reduce your intake of salt which will bind with the the minerals to make a kidney stone with sharp edges, it will be like passing knives. Good Luck

Do cats cry when in pain?

Heart wrenchingly.I will never forget, and never stop crying over, the evening that my beautiful boy, Sage, uncharacteristically ran out of the house and almost directly into the street. He was hit by a car within moments. After being hit, he made it to the edge of the street up onto the grass, right in front of our house. My (then) wife and I ran outside while he writhed and screamed his heart out. I threw myself onto the ground to hold him and see if there was anything that could be done (since I have first aid and trauma triage training). He didn’t have any visible injuries. He had simply been crushed by the car. It was so horrible that my wife started screaming for me to go get my gun and put him down immediately.I couldn’t even comprehend what she was asking me to do, but it didn’t matter. He didn’t live more than another 90 seconds. Just like that, he was gone, and I will have those screams with me until the day I die.He died in January 28th, 2003, and we had him cremated and spread his ashes.Edit: Because memories change, I went back and found the journal entry I wrote the night he died. He had more injuries than I remembered. LiveJournal Entry, January 28, 2003 by Katherine Rossiter on Not Your IngenueThese are actually the only photos I have of him, and the beautiful heart on his side.

Can someone give me some tips? Please...[UTI pain]?

I went to school today, and went to the bathroom and I cried because it hurt really really bad. My mom called my doctor and he said that it sounded like a UTI, and that if it doesn't clear up in a day or two to come in. Well...It's hurting really bad, and my mom is going with what the doctor says and wont take me into see him until Monday.

Is there anyway I can stop the pain?
I've taken advil but it's done nothing, and Ive been taking cranberry capsules and everything else.
