What are some super yummy, yet healthy snacks?

My number one answer is fruits and veggies! They are the best thing for you and they are also sweet, yummy and full of fiber (which will fill up your stomach so you don't want to eat as much food). There are a ton of types of fruits and vegetables that you can snack on. Blueberries, raspberries, and grapes are some that you can just rinse off and pop into your mouth. No prep needed. As for veggies, baby carrots are easy and addicting (you won't be able to stop eating them lol) and many other vegetables can be cut up and eaten raw. Some yummy snack ideas to spice up fruits and veggies are:
-Apples & Caramel
-Celery & Peanut Butter
-Fruit Salad~this way you wont get bored of eating just one fruit. You can mix them all together and maybe even put some kind of juice on top to bring out delicious flavors.

Another great idea is smoothies! This incorporates 2 major food groups: produce and dairy. Yogurt is so healthy for you, it is a good idea to eat one serving a day. I love smoothies and all you need is vanilla yogurt, fresh or frozen fruit, milk and ice. Some of my favorite types of smoothies are Mango Coconut, Strawberry Banana, Peach Strawberry & Blueberry Banana. Here is a couple of good websites on smoothie How-Tos:
www.smoothieweb.com
http://allrecipes.com//Recipes/drinks/sm...
You can even buy smoothies pre-made. Just add milk!

Another yummy snack that is good for you is granola bars. My favorites are Cliff Bars and Luna Bars. There are so many different brands and types that you might be overwhelmed, but you should check out which is the healithiest for you and of course which ones you like the best. My all time favorite type is peanut butter.

Some other healthy snack ideas:
-Trail Mix
-Raisins
-Popcorn
-Applesauce
-Yogurt
-Salad
-Dried Fruit
-Whole Grain Crackers & Cheese
-Cottage Cheese
-Pita & Hummus

Also remember: portion control and the food pyramid are the key. You can eat unhealthy snacks every once in a while but don't go overboard. And be sure to get your daily servings of fruit, veggies, dairy, grain and protein.

Hope this helps(:

Yummy easy snacks A 13 year old can make?

Fresh fruits and veggies, of course. These can be eaten with dips to make them more appealing.

Anything can be rolled up in a tortilla, and lots of these don't have to be heated. My kids like to roll up sliced chicken and ham with grated carrots, lettuce, etc. The possibilities are almost endless with wraps.

They also love to make mini pizzas on pita bread, refrigerated biscuit dough (rolled flat) or English muffin halves. You can top these with anything, healthy or otherwise.

A good crunchy snack is pretzels, apple slices, and/or celery dipped in peanut butter.

Easy sweets are microwave S'mores: Top a graham cracker with chocolate bar or chips, and one with marshmallow cream, zap 'em a few seconds in the microwave, then put them together!

Good luck with all the answers you are going to get ... So Many Snacks, So Little Time!

What Are Some Yummy Vegan Snacks?

I highly recommend a trip to your local Trader Joe's. They have delicious Vegan Trail Mix Cookies, all sorts of nuts, trail mixes, and dried fruits, pretzels and chips, and they even have some of the healthier variety of vegan candy/chocolate/etc. If you're driving, or I guess this could be if you're flying, too, bring some fruit, but make sure you eat it on the first day so it doesn't go bad. You could also bring some bread and a jar of peanut butter and a jar of jelly, or you could premake them, but you have to watch out for premaking because they can get soggy and that tastes gross, but some people don't like to bring the individual ingredients because they are rather large and can take up space. However, if the other 2 people in the room are going to eat that stuff too, it might be worth it!

and to the person who said otherwise, yes, vegans DO eat bread.

What are the healthy snacks to eat in the evening that are oil-less and yummy to eat?

Here are a few guilt-free snacks that you could try. :)Granola Bars are lightweight yet filling and are hence a healthy choice to make. They aren’t just healthy but also delicious. :DDried and candied fruits and nuts can be perfect if you’re looking for healthy snacks. :)You could also try these variety snacks which are dried crispy healthy vegetables. These aren’t fried in oil or baked or roasted, but naturally dried and hence are a healthy snack choice.Lastly, these yummy solar dried bananas!! These are true to their names and are naturally sun-dried, so do not contain any oil.Hope you enjoy these yummy and healthy snacks as much as I do! :)

Healthy snacks/lunch ideas for school?

I'm a teacher, and I get hungry during the day, too!
Eating PROTEIN can really help curb hunger pangs, and food HIGH IN FIBER are good, too!

Healthy things I like for myself:

* cheesy foods! (cheese and crackers, string cheese, or even a cold quesadilla)
* nutty foods! (almonds & dried apricots, peanut butter and honey on a grain bagel, or my ALL TIME FAVORITE: almond butter on bananas-try it!)
* dairy foods! (yogurt, easy smoothies -you can mix fruit yogurt and milk and shake it in an aluminum water bottle, no blender needed)
* fruity foods! (dried fruits, apples, grapes, you know...)
* meaty foods! (beef jerky, lunch meat wrapped up in a tortilla with cream cheese...)

if you want to make something a little sweet, check out these HEALTHY "cookie dough" balls. they're not really made from cookie dough, they actually have raw cashews and dates in them:

These should give you a little extra boost to get you through the day!

What are some healthy (vegan, veggie or peske) snacks and lunches I can take on-the-go?

im assuming you mean pescetarian.
good snacks are:
nuts(pistachios, cashews, almonds, etc.) they are great because they are packed with nutrients, calories, and good fat. so they supply a lot of energy.

you also can't go wrong with raw fruits or veggies. low calorie, but lots of fiber leaving you feeling full.

i also like pretzels, they are riding the line on being healthy, but they are better than potato chips at least. bring a little cup of applesauce and dip them, really yummy.

also granola bars. nature valley peanut butter are heaven. there's also many other good ones like clif bars or pro bars.

i also make trail mixes, they are so yummy. some chex, carob chips, craisins, cashews, and pretzels. its good, just add your favorite things together,
