Math Extended Response!?

say that ann writes A letters, and sue writes P letters.
ann uses A paper & A envelopes
sue uses 3P paper and P envelopes.

ann runs out of envelopes (with paper left over) so the box has A envelopes and A+50 paper.
sue runs out of paper (with envelopes left over) so the box has 3P paper and P+50 envelopes.

equating the number of sheets of paper
A+50 = 3P
equating the number of envelopes
A = P+50
plug the second equation into the first
P+50 + 50 = 3P
2P = 100
P = 50
A = 100
box has 100 envelopes and 150 sheets of paper.

How should you write 1 mark questions, 2 mark questions, and 5 mark questions effectively in the CBSE board examinations in all subjects?

For a one mark question, try writing the answer in a word or two or maybe, in a line. But do not use more than 15 words for your answer.For a 2-marks question, writing 2-3 lines is sufficient in about 40 words. If it's English or Social Science, you can extend the answer to not more than 50 words. ;)Now 5-marks questions are very important.As a CBSE student, I will advise you DO NOT write your answers in paragraphs.Teachers forget how many points you have mentioned in your answer and you end up getting 2 marks for your correct answer.Before mentioning the points, give a one line introduction. For example- Following are some reasons for the poverty in India- (next line) (i)… (ii).. and so onWrite at-least 5 points, depending on the subject you can extend the answer to 7-8 points. If still tgere are some important points left, feel free to write all of them.Do not write the same point again by rearranging the words of sentences.These are some tips you should remember while writing your answers. Good luck!
