What is the difference between 'incident' and 'accident' with the help of real life instances?

The words incident and accident are somtimes used interchangeably but are not exactly the same or the synonyms.Let us try to understand the basic difference between both these words.incident :- Incident is a single distinctive event or a public disturbance.An incident can be a good event or a bad one. It can be something that happened intentionally or unintentionally.example:- I remember an incident from my childhood when I visited my grandparents, during summer holidays.Now the ‘incident’ referred here, can be good or bad, something that took place intentionally or unintentionally.accident:- Accident is a mishap, something that happened by chance and resulted in injuries or deaths.An accident always refers to bad event which happend unintentionally .example:- Mohan fell down the tree while attempting to pluck some raw mangoes. After this accident, he was immediately taken to a hospital.In this case the word accident signifies a bad, unfortunate and unintentional event that resulted in harm being caused.——————————————————-Another important point is that the word incident can be used in place of accident always but incident cannot be replaced by accident, always.If the event had a bad impact, it has to be an accident or incident. But if, the event didn't bring forth any bad consequence, was rather something good , it cannot be called an accident. In the latter case, incident is the appropriate word.An argument between two people or parties is not an accident but an incident.Cutting a finger while chopping vegetables is an accident or an incident ( with bad outcome or consequence, of course).The word accident can be considered a ‘subset’ of the word incident. How do the black boxes help in the investigation of aircraft accidents?

Air India Flight 182 on the route Toronto-Montreal-London-New Delhi went off radar on the 23 June, 1985, during the Montreal-London leg. A search operation was called, and the Boeing 747 was found on the ocean bed of the Atlantic Ocean, with debris scattered over a huge radius. The investigators were shocked on how'd an aircraft crash without a reason, as the aircraft had suffered from no malfunctions. A huge operation was done to recover the aircraft parts, and finally they found the black box. On investigating further, they found that the aircraft was bombed by a Sikh community in Canada. The bombers were convicted later on. This was possible using the black box.The aircraft, VT-EFO, named Emperor KanishkaAir France Flight 447 was flying over the communications dead zone over the Atlantic Ocean, when it never appeared from the other end. It was flying from Rio de Janeiro to Paris. Again a massive search operation was conducted, again to find the Airbus A330 at the ocean bed. Several companies and nations sent their engineers to show their skills and fish the plane out from there. The black box was found and again the case was solved. Miscommunication between the pilots led to a major stall, and the aircraft couldn't bring itself out of it.
