jamie, it seems yahoo has done something as i dont hav any other issues with my yahoo mailbox but this issue. i receive etc also...i just cannot get the mailbox to open if i want to "compose" from the compose option. i hav emailed them 4-5 times and all i get is a bunch of CRAPO from them...do this...do that and none of it works. i was able to send an email by doing this>>>i read one that come in from someone else.....then deleted what they wrote, put my yahoo email in the from line and sent and email that way. but who wants to do this all the time???yahoo created this issue and they need to fix it. id hate to hav to change my mailbox to something else because of this...and i pay for the yahoo mail plus stuff...so yahoo needs to address the issues there creating....if u get an answer, let me know because yahoo certainlly isnt helping any...just sending me on a wild goose chase and im tired of chasing!!!!!!

I have the same problem....what the responders here are not understanding is that when you click on the "REPLY" button, a window is supposed to open to give you options to reply.....but when you try to open that window, nothing happens....I still haven t figured it out....... Also, when a "contact" (blue text) is supplied in the body of the listing, my computer will not open that either, but I can "right click" it and open it in a new window. That window opens in text only with the phone number, if it is within the body of the listing.

Yahoo mail issues, not able to reply, forward, view contact, empty trash, nothing, but read?
When I switched over to the new yahoo mail I kept having the same errors... I finally got so fed up with it I wrote to yahoo and they "fixed" it. So then it randomly would not work, I wrote them again and I got someone that was very helpful, in a matter of minutes my email was up and running perfectly. I haven't had an issue since, I think when some people switched over, it didn't entirely change all of yahoo mail to the new yahoo mail, so frustrating! The error in yahoo mail that the above people are talking about only started this morning so the issues you're talking about probably don't pertain to the current issue with yahoo mail. If you need to get to your mail asap I suggest switching back to the old yahoo mail until they can fix this issue.

Different things seem to work for different people. It's causing attachments to not show, 999 errors where it won't let you do a particular action and some people cannot send recieve delete or move mail. It's not just Vista either it's happening to some of us on XP.
