Help I Think I Am Obsessed With The Tv Show South Park

I'm a girl and I love South Park..?

"You killed Kenny!"
"You basterd!"
Haha I myself am a girl and love South Park its just a T.V show has nothing to do with who you are as a person I believe and I also love Glee btw;)

How does South Park get away with the kind of stuff that they show?

oh my gosh, you're totally right, i guess because they show warning before before they view, so whoever may want to sue..can't! or maybe they got kick-*** lawyers

Will shows like south park ever stop making fun of Michael Jackson since he died and give him some respect?

Im a south park fan, and I go with the punches most of the time and dont get offended. They already made fun of Michael Jackson in an earlier episode when he was alive based on the whole non true (not guilty) child molestation charges. Now that Michael Jackson died though, cant they let up on the guy and let him rest in piece and cut all the rumors and not true parts of his life and focus on his music? Sure the guy was a little weird, but he was also a true legend of music why cant we focus on that more?

How to stop being obsessed with a tv show?

Start a new one!

Watch shows in pairs- example- comedy and drama... The office & breaking bad.

This way, you don't get sick of the show your watching and your not to depressesd when its over. I miss the office. But started to watch ''the incrinsingly poor decisions of Todd margret''. And my sadness went away.

When im through with breaking bad, I'm going to start sons of anarchy.

Its a cycle.

South park episode question?

I am thinking of an episode where a talk show host tricks sex offenders or something to coming to his show, but when they get there, the men kill themselves...I cannot think of the hosts name either...I do believe it has something to do with butters as well...

Why can't Kenny from South Park never die?

Well... Umm... His parent joins a cult and evrytime Kenny DOES die his mom has another Kenny that remembers everything in his other(s) Kenny life like when he (gets) kills himself, and he grows 9 in like a couple of seconds... DON'T QUESTION IT! just be happy he always comes back O.o

Anybody here obsessed with Family Guy?

It's kind of like stand up comedy into a cartoon. They usually make offensive jokes, but they're meant to be funny, not taken seriously.

If you haven't noticed, they just like to throw in usual stereotypes you hear. There's also a lot of life lessons in this show. The show actually throws in hidden messages while being funny.

What do feminists think of the show "Comedy Nights with Kapil"?

No. It might not be the best show out there but I don't think it sucks. The character of middle aged bua just wants to get married and get some. Dadi wants to get drunk without paying every night. Kapil just wants to get rich by scamming someone. Bua is mocked because that's all she wants. Had the character been a woman who doesn't want to get married and still getting mocked for being single, I would have understood your point. Again I am not saying that she should be mocked for wanting to get married. I  agree that her character is of a shallow woman who just wants to marry a rich guy. I don't find it either funny or offensive. There is this really old guy too also who wants to get married and gets constantly mocked at too. Again Palak is mocked for being undesirable because she is fat.How shallow? Yes.How sexist ? NONo, because did you notice how Kapil sharma mocks the not so good looking guys who want to dance with celebrites. How is a dadi who gets drunk every day not confirming to any societal rules of widowhood anti feminist? She, on the other hand,  is fully cooperative of all Kapil's scamming schemes and not being the old nice dadi with rosary in hands. That's the element of surprise and that's what makes us laugh. So finally, Are we laughing on stereotypes? Yes. The whole point of the joke is to not take it seriously. It's our instantaneous reaction. We don't choose things to laugh at. That might be reflective of our communal sense of humor but only to a certain extent. If I am a fan of cyanide and happiness(Comic) and South Park (TV show) doesn't mean I am racist, sexist or narcissist. It's the surprise element of a joke that makes one laugh Apart from over glorification of sexy gorgeous woman, I don't see the problem. If the show is banking on insults for TRP, I think it is doing it in a very gender neutral way which means mocking both of them.
