Help Me On My Pc Build

Building my pc...?

Of the 2, the Ryzen one is better. At this price point the main focus should be a strong GPU, and the 1050 Ti is a pretty significant upgrade from the 1050. The Ryzen CPU will also have better multi-core performance thanks to SMT (2 threads per core instead of 1 like the i5), but it will fall behind a bit in single-core performance. I would make a few changes though.

-Replace the 1600X with a 1600. The 1600 comes with a stock cooler that's a bit better than the one on your list, and both will overclock to the same speed.

-$230 for a 1050 Ti is ridiculous. Cryptocurrency mining has killed GPU prices, but you can probably find a better used option. Just from about 20 seconds of looking, I found a used GTX 970 for the same price as that 1050 Ti.

It's a lot better. http://gpu.userbenchmark.com/Compare/Nvi...
Also look into the GTX 980, R9 380/380X and R9 390/390X used. You'll probably find something better value than that 1050 Ti.

Can you help me with my PC build/upgrade?

It never ceases to amaze me how many people have the need to build a powerful machine on a strict budget for everyday tasks when they are really just wasting their money. If you really need such a machine its one thing, but the large majority of people that use computers don't play games on them.So in this case I'd look at it from a different perspective. Checkout an off lease computer like the Lenovo M58 or a Dell 755 running from $80–150. Pretty fast computers with decent specs. All they really need is a Windows 7 or higher installed OS, 4 or 8 gb ram, and at least a 160gb hard drive. You'd be surprised how many people can use them for years without issues. Now if you really need a fast and updated computer, spend some time to research every component you need and then go shopping for them. You'd be surprised just how much you can save from the usual retail prices.Good luck either way.

How to ground yourself while building a PC?

The idea is to dissipate any static charge that might be in your body before touching sensitive components. All you need to do is touch part of the bare frame of the computer first and any such charge will dissipate around the frame.

Just make sure your hands are clean and dry first to avoid putting grease from your fingers onto the components. That can cause problems.

For what it's worth it's the same if you're one of those who has issues with a static spark when you get out of a car. Just grab hold of the metal door frame before you put a foot on the ground. Problem solved.

How can i find someone to build my pc for me?

Should I build my own Gaming PC or buy one?

I am wanting to get a gaming PC to record HD captures from my XBox 360 & One. I've never owned a PC before (only my laptop) and am not knowledgeable with building a PC or what the best components are to buy. Should I teach myself how to build one and do it from scratch, or would it be best to simply buy an already built gaming PC (since I am a beginner at this).

If you say build, I would love to hear what you think is a great PC build for me to use. Greatly appreciated!
