Help Me. Your Opinion On This

What are your opinions on this?

I was almost brought to tears by your description. Something about it really hit my nostalgia nerve and brought back emotions from my own youth (roughly 15 years ago). All of my first 'experiences' were in public places. I did far worse than what you guys have done in places like a park bench, an alley, a construction site, etc. On several occasions people walked up on us! No biggie though, adults just figure it's kids being kids. Except the one time we were in someone's back yard... they chased us off. In fact, I've made out publicly recently. I live in a city now so you can do whatever you want and other people don't care - much different than my suburban upbringing.Anyway, the point is you did nothing wrong. Just make sure you're happy with the pace of things with this guy. You have the power to slow him down, but you have to be confident enough to say something. This is very important. As long as you're both happy with the pace of your growing affections, feels free to do those things and more wherever the hell you feel like. It's not like you guys have your own apartments. If you're parents don't want to invite him over so you guys can make out all day on the couch, then take to the streets (or park bench!) and do your business there.

What is your opinion on the ODYSSEY?

I'm reading the Odyssey for school, and though it can get annoying in certain places, I think it's pretty interesting. It's sort of like an adventure novel written a long, long, long, long time ago. It's hard to comprehend at parts, but still, I like it so far! XD was my response to long?

What is your opinion on opinions?

This really depends on whose opinion. My opinion about my husband's opinions? I usually approve of them. It helps that he's so handsome….. he's an easy to agree with kind of guy. I've got myself a Mr. Tall, Dark, Handsome, and Righteously Opinionated. Now, if these are my kid's opinions we're talking about….. my opinion is that: they need to stop having so many damn opinions of their own, whenever we're doing something.“Mom, how about hotdogs instead of hamburgers?”Me, thinking: But we agreed on hamburgers and I'VE ALREADY PUT HAMBURGER BUNS PLUS OTHER BURGER FIXINGS IN THE CART. Whatever. Hotdogs are great, just fantastic. Sure. This is so not worth my time to argue about..“Mom let's paint the house green!” Says son, age 7.“NO MOM MAKE IT MAGENTA PINK!” says daughter, age 4.Me: OMG I DIDN'T EVEN FUCKING ASK EITHER OF YOU!Okay, okay. I didn't say that to my kids. Swearing at children is bad. You have to use your inside-head voice and hope nothing slips out in reality.Me: Alright guys, let's hope in the car and head over to the park!Son: “LET'S TAKE SILVER CAR-”“NO LET'S TAKE INGA!” interrupts daughter.*Argument insues, while I start whichever car isn't blocked by the other in the driveway….. and maybe try to leave without them before they notice*“Mom I want to sit in this chair, not that one because it's not my favorite”“Mom I want brother's spot on the couch, it's MY spot”“MOM I WANT THE OTHER CARSEAT”“MOM I WANT THIS PARK” “NO THE OTHER PARK”MOM I WANT TO GO TO PANERA BREADNO MOM, PIZZA FOR LUNCH!MOM WHY CAN'T WE GO TO TARGET FIRST, THEN THE OTHER STORE!?!? I WANT TO GO TO TARGET FIRST FOR NO REASON OTHER THAN TO OPPOSE YOUR GRAND PLANS FOR THE DAY BECAUSE I HAVE OPINIONS AND I HAVE A LOT OF THEM BECAUSE I'M A SMALL HUMAN AND MOM YOU SHOULD HAVE MADE ME A BROTHER, NOT A SISTER, JEEZ.Okay okay, y'all get the jist of this. Also, I'm exaggerating a bit. Usually my kids say “please” with their requests and opinions on our daily happenings.Still, my opinion about my kid's opinions? My opinion is: this must be why I've got grey hairs coming in. I'm only 26. And my kid's opinions will eventually be the death of me, I'm fairly certain.

What is your opinion about this statement?

I think that statement is a great description of why people stay with abusers. We don't choose who we fall for. We do choose who we are in a relationship with. We can choose, if we want, to be in relationships only with people who treat us well."I can see the good in him!" is something every single abuse victim always, always, always says about an abuser. Even when they're being screamed at. "I can see the good in him!" Even when they're lying on the stretcher. "This isn't how he really is, I can see the good in him!" Even after they come out of surgery. "This isn't everything about who he is, I can still see the good in him!""Our brains won't allow them to leave our minds, and our hearts won't allow them to leave our lives" is just a fancy statement of disempowerment. "I have no control over my life. I am ruled by my feelings. I have this feeling, and therefore it doesn't matter how he treats me. I have this feeling, and therefore I am helpless. I have this feeling, and therefore I must stay."Nobody who treats you poorly DESERVES to be in your mind or your heart.

What is your opinion of this poem I wrote?

Could I simply say that my opinion of your poem that you wrote is that it is quite deep (pun intended). However, if you wanted critique or something particular to go on with, you should say that in the question. I’ll assume permission is given in the A2A for critique. The metaphor is good, a little unbalanced in the middle, but it holds although the shifting focus is a little confusing. When you start, it feels like you are talking about a person and their relationship to you, whereas at the end it feels like you are talking about inspiration by mentioning your muse. The two mix up together. Maybe there are two poems here trying to find form in the one set of words.Blank verse is probably good to keep metaphor in its place. Metaphor can be quite naughty sometimes.I like the alliteration and consonance scattered here and there. They give the words a soothing feeling, though there is a contrast with the wildness of the ocean which the salt water represents to me.There is the William Butler Yeats poem The Fish which has a related theme, though with a different approach and resolution. The FishALTHOUGH you hide in the ebb and flowOf the pale tide when the moon has set,The people of coming days will knowAbout the casting out of my net,And how you have leaped times out of mindOver the little silver cords,And think that you were hard and unkind,And blame you with many bitter words. What's your opinion on this speech?

The central idea is good. However the delivery can be worked up on. Here are some areas to focus on,- get the script/material proof-read to eliminate easily avoidable grammatical errors- use a wider range, in terms of pitch and voice modulation- some work on accent neutralization would definitely help- be ruthless in editing content till the content only has what is sufficient to produce the desired impact, while getting the message across- practice, practice, practice - in front of a mirror, record oneself, seek feedback. That said, public speaking requires a lot of hard work and courage. Kudos for the effort!

What are your opinion about the paintings below?

Good job.New and fresh ideas about the nature and function of materials are there in the paintings. Nevertheless, I would be more of a critic. Following are my points to ponder:It’s not necessary to paint every object with strong colors. Composition needs a focal point in the painting. Artist should try to introduce desaturated against strong colors too to maintain balance.Paintings especially modern art and impressionism are organized in a thematic manner. Incorporate a theme in paintings.Be nonchalant while applying brush strokes to the areas which are less important.Keep colors clean. Don’t overuse same color in paintings dominantly. For instance, use of turquoise is good but do use tinge of white to lighten it. Incorporate complementary or split complementary colors in paintings.Apart from that, collaging technique like Papier collé is used by various modern artists out there. Moreover, in terms of paintings like these, Paul Cézanne’s idea of depicting nature in three solids: cube, sphere and cone was also practiced by other savants.I hope that helps!

How do you respond to "well that's your opinion"?

That kind of depends on the circumstances, and the way in which the statement is made.Case 1: A professional situation - say a meeting on what approach to take on a project, or on a decision to be made - in which you’re a key person in making the decision, and/or will be seriously impacted by the decision. If the comment is made dismissively - as in “you don’t know what you’re talking about, this is how we’re really going to do it” - then you push back, with facts (assuming you have them), or at least with “it’s my professional opinion.” If the person is dismissive to the point of being insulting, then you might push back harder (I’ve been known to tell people where to go in such situations - sometimes a wise move, sometimes not, depending on who’s in the room and the politics involved.)Now, if you’re over-ruled - by someone senior to you, by majority opinion, you might want to make a strong statement about “I want to be on the record that I disagree.” (As in “I’ll do my part, but for the record, there’s no way in hell that we can meet this artificial deadline.”)Case 2: A personal discussion about something that doesn’t matter - say a political or religious conversation, in a bar or social situation - then it’s up to you about whether to push back, or let things slide. It kind of depends on how much you value the relationship (do you tell mother-in-law that she’s a moron, or do you nod politely?), or how much you’re willing to deal with a violent outcome (do you tell the drunk in a bar that he’s an asshole, or do you let it slide?).

What is your opinion on the gothic style?

Their clothing is a personification of their outlook and attitude on life...or is it? There really is no set 'gothic dress code,' i.e., you must wear black only, it must be lace, or latex, or satin, or whatever. So every goth is free to dress as he or she pleases. Very few goths (and I mean very few) are satanists; not everybody is scared of them. Each individual simply is what they is.

What is your opinion about the Apple Company?

Apple really was a great company! But creativity died with Steve Jobs. If he would be alive we wouldn't be seeing Apple as it is now.Tim cook has made it into a money minting business.Yes their products are high quality and reliable ( accept from lighting cable and other dongle which are of poor quality so the customer has to keep purchasing it repeatedly and Apple makes money from them, USB C to 3.5mm adaptor cable was the top seller on Amazon and Apple US because they are so easy to break or to get lost )But just look at their prices too.iPhone XS starting at $999 and in India at ₹99,990 as per which 1$ is ₹100. Apple just loves to hide behind taxes in India. Also the pricing is ridiculous. The higher variant of iPhone XS Max cost $1449/- in US and almost 1.4 lac rupees in India. They don't even include a fast charger in the box with such an expensive phone. They expect you to buy it seperately too!Coming to the iPhone Xr which starts at $749 matches the price of Samsung's galaxy note 9 which is a far better device than iPhone Xr. (In my opinion)They are putting a 720p LCD panel on a $749 phone which again starts in India at nearly ₹76,000/- ! So basically you can't even stream any video on Netflix/YT/Amazon at more than 720p because display limits it.And with their latest iPhone offerings they're not even bundling the USB C to 3.5mm adaptor so the consumer have to shell out additional $9 for it.So basically here's what I think about Apple. They're into money making and least bothered about their consumers, even the loyal one's.Apple is soon going to drown if it continues to be like this, doesn't matter if you are a trillion dollars company on stock market because consumers are getting smarter everyday.Huawei has already beat Apple as second largest smartphone maker - Huawei beats Apple to become second-largest smartphone makerAnd one another question which are likely to be asked - But Apple has faster chipset like A12 Bionic so they are even providing for what they charge or any similar questions. The Next generation Samsung Exynos processor are also built on 7nm process, will launch in few months and is predicted to be better than A12 Bionic at least in terms of Multi-core performance, the single core performance is also almost equal. Not a huge difference.Thank you for asking and reading!
