I hate my cousin to death I wish she would just go away. Banish from my life. I swear, her life is goes perfect al the time. I hate it! Here is my situation, my cousin, who is a few months younger than me and a grade level lower than me has such a better life than me and it's not fair. At school she is popular and has friends and social life but the only reason she has all this is the fact that she acts fake, she doesn't act like that when she is at home. (please no offense to those who are Asian but my cousin uses it for the wrong and fake reasons.) anyhow I'm so sick of her like I hate the fact that everything on her life us handed to her. And I know in her mind she compares us too because our ages are so close,we grew up together and we go to the same school. I'm like the total opposite, I'm very shy, quiet, pretty much a loser, and I don't have any friends what so ever. Like it's really hard for me to open to people, so yeah that's my life. It just kills me on how her life is so perfect compared to mines and now what really upsets me now is that she has a boyfriend before me.( and the race of this boy fascinates the rest of my family, yes my family is .. Idk) I just hate everything that happens to her and what she does because it's just not fair on how her life is. She ruins everything, I can't compete and I don't want to but just the thought if her kills me on how unlucky I am compared to her. Sorry if I'm yapping to much but all these years Ive been suffering from her limelight.
I need help! My cousin is suicidal?
Hi, I don't know who to come to about this but my cousin is suicidal. I try to offer her help and I let her talk to me about her life, and I even wrote a ten page story to try to cheer her up, but she is so stubborn and won't listen. She has been told to take medication and she won't take them, I gave her the number for suicide hotline and she won't call because she doesn't want to open up to anyone but me. She is in therapy and she refuses to talk to the therapist. I try to tell her to open up about this stuff and she refuses. I tell her kind things and compliments all the time to make her feel better and she just deny's them. She think's she is fat when she's a size small, and I tell her all the time she isn't fat and she won't listen. I don't know what I'm supposed to do about the fact that she is depressed and suicidal and won't listen to me. In an odd sense, I feel like she is only saying this stuff for attention. She gives into peer pressure really easily (she helped her friend buy drugs and steal) and I know she doesn't get any attention at home. I am almost tempted to tell her to run away from home because I know she would do that and maybe she'll feel better. What am I supposed to do?

What your cousin does is her own business. You tried to warn her and help her, but if she refused, there's nothing more you can do. It's sweet that you care for your cousin and want to help, but people like that can be very stubborn. If she wants to throw her life away, fine. PLEASE don't think about suicide. There's soooo many girls in the world that would LOVE to have you in their life. I don't know who you are, but you seem like you would treat a girl the way she deserves to be treated. You look at the small things about a girl, and that is EXACTLY what EVERY girl wants. Trust me, ending your life at such a young age when you've only experienced love once is not a good idea. You have so many more years ahead of you..
