Help My Neighbors Cat Comes Into My House In The Middle Of The Night And Fights With My Cats

The neighbor cats keep eating my cat's food?

Feed your cat 3 small meals a day and take it away when she is done eating. Leave fresh water out. Anytime you leave food out in view and other animals have access to it, they will eat it. Can you bring your cat in for meals?

If I get my male cat fixed will he stop fighting the neighborhood toms?

There's a big Siamese cat that keeps jumping on him and slashing chunks of fur out of his neck and face. I got him about a month ago from a friend who couldn't afford to keep him anymore. I thought that getting him fixed would make other cats leave him alone since he won't give off macho vibes anymore, but I'm worried it would make him less able to defend himself against them.

He's 7 years old and has been an outside cat until I got him. I still let him out at night because I worry that cooping him up when he's used to being outside is bad for him. I worry that being old for an outdoor cat, he might not take the surgery very well.

I asked my friend if he cared if I got the cat fixed, and he said it didn't bother him.

Any advice? I don't want him to get hurt anymore, and I don't want to let my friend down by not doing the best thing I can for the cat. :(

My neighbors were neglecting their cat and so I started taking care of him, eventually he started sleeping in my house at night. Now they're angry and want him back. What can I do? My heart is broken.

This is Billy.Billy lived across the street from me. One day I noticed him on my porch. Then in my backyard. At first I didn't know who he belonged to so I fed himEventually he moved into the backyardThen closerI began spoiling him like my older one. I started leaving the door open for him to come inside, he seemed to want to be my cat. This went on for a while. Even when my very senior cat chased him outHe still came back like he had a purpose. Months passed and I lost my senior to old age. He was the best cat I ever had so I had no intention of replacing him. I was done with cats for a while I was going to travel. I wasn't going to have any ties, things were going to be super simple well BILLY had other plans or shall I say God because he sent BILLY to me he saved both of us. In the middle of this I did talk to my neighbors across the street which explained that they had gotten another cat who after a weekend left alone with BILLY the relationship of the two changed and BILLY no longer wanted to live there. He started coming across the street. They bought me some cat food and said thank you very much for taking care of him. They sold their house and moved away.Billy loves me and I him. I was prepared to lock him in my house if they wanted to try and take him. It was obvious that he had decided where and who he choose to be "his master" I'm lucky these people just wanted to make sure I really wanted him and would love him. I moved as well after that. I told him he's going to have to be a traveling cat for a while. He agreed!Santa CruzSomewhere by the EvergladesFlorida by the gulfSleeping in the Tennessee sunPlease don't wake me up, dang it's bright here in ArizonaAre we here yet? My cat fights with other cats through the window!?

I have a very sweet 4 year old cat. She is awesome. She spends all day looking at the window. She sees dogs passing by and has no problems, but when a cat simply crosses the street in front of the house she goes ballistic. I have been woken up numerous times at 2 am by a screaming cat fight going on in my living room, only to find out that it is Shayna, by herself, staring at a cat out the window. Let me tell you, that is a horrible, heart breaking sound to be woken up by.

Recently a very sweet stray has been coming around, so I have been feeding him on my front porch. She gets a little aggravated when he comes by, but when I go out and spend about an hour with him on the porch she eventually calms down inside. But if he comes by in the middle of the night after I have gone to bed, she goes crazy. i really don't know what to do. I was considering taking the stray in, but with the way my cat has been acting, I just don't know.

Regardless of if I take the cat in or not, I can't keep waking up to these cat fights that go on when any cat walks by.

Any suggestions??? PLEASE HELP!!

My cat is ADDICTED to outside! ...Help :(!?

My short haired black cat was an indoor cat when we got her, and an easily scared cat too. But, she was only 3 months old back then. She was literally scared of the sound of the TV turning on! But now, she's not afraid to go outside, eat lizards, nothing! And it's great she has a little more backbone, but it's gotten out of hand.. Now, every time the door opens, we have to check the house to make sure shes still in the house! And if shes outside for at least half an hour, shes either gone to the neighbors house (and the people don't like trespassers no matter WHO they are! So last time, getting her back was havoc.) or under the house (she can fit through this crack and it goes so annoying when you have to get her out.). I hate it, and now i'm afraid to let her out, but either way, both my room door and the front door seem to MAGICALLY open now! And she cant open my room door, because it's one of those doors you slide! Like for patios! How can i stop her from going outside all the time, like, is there a way to make her not want to go out when the door opens?

Thanks for the help :)

CAT stays out too LATE and goes too FAR - Please help!!?

We have this cat, Bo. We let Bo go out during the day sometimes and he goes pretty far. We also let him out when we get home from work around 7 PM or so. When we want to go to bed around 10 PM we call him and he has gone too far so he can't hear us. We even go outside and look for him but can't find him.

How can we get Bo to come back on time? And also probably how to make him not go too far.

One night he didn't come back even at 11 PM so we had to go to bed without him being in. Well, I turned over around 4 AM and checked and he was out there and came in.

What can we do to get him to come in on time? Leave him out a few nights?? But will that make him an outdoor cat?

Please help. Thanks.

So I had a fight with my cat because I needed to put him inside the house because otherwise, he would wake me up in the middle of the night outside as he wants to get inside. Now he lays down on the floor looking at me, what should I do?
