Are HTC phones good?
Thanks for A2AIMO, HTC makes good phones in flagship segment, but if you are looking in the mid range, then HTC phones are not good, you have several good mid rangers in market.Here are some Pros and Cons of HTC flagship devices in general;Sound: HTC phones have very good Audio quality via Ear phones and speakers with their trade mark HTC Boom sound. In their recent HTC models like; U11, U play and U ultra, the company ditched the headphone jack, but they came up with the HTC sense sound, which can optimize the music experience as per your ear shape and the earphones you get in the box is top quality with active noise cancellation.Display: Even though they are not good as Samsung flagships, but still the best in market.Camera: The rear camera in HTC U 11 (which is released in India this week) is top in DXO mark for now. In fact it overtook last year Pixel phone. Even in the U ultra it excelled.Build Quality: The company was making (yes, was) phones with solid build quality till HTC 10. The recent models, they shifted to ceramic-glass combination, which is indeed not durable as metal body. It look good in hands, but you need to be extra careful as they are prone to scratch & smudge and fragile in nature.Software: HTC has introduced HTC sense in this year and company said it will be competition to the Google Assistant. But as of now, it’s a half baked product, we need to wait until the software matures. As far UI is considered, it’s clean and smooth.Now, we will come to the Con. The only Con I see with HTC is their pricing and poor marketing, that’s why HTC phones are not popular among people as Samsung, especially in India. I am not sure about the service quality of HTC.So, to conclude if you love music and camera is your preference then you can go for HTC mobile. If a phone is dead will it still ring on my end? PLEASE HELP!!!?
My gf has an HTC Evo from sprint (the first one) and I called her phone when she stop texting I called her phone which rang the normal length before going to voicemail. I called her about 5 times and did the same thing. About an hour later it started to go straight to voicemail (this has happened twice) When she had the chance she told me that her phone dies. Could a phone actually still ring the callers end if it is dead?
How do you use a TracFone SIM card in an unlocked phone?

Franko had the best answer of them all…While you can switch your sim to a compatible phone and it will call and access data, etc; the cs rep at tracfone stated that there might/will be problems later as tracfone will still have the old esn tied to that sim. So temporarily switching sims will work….The correct procedure is to buy a new sim kit (Bestbuy $1) and call tracfone to register that new sim to the new phone’s esn. It seems that the sim is “married” to the first phone it is assigned to, thus a new esn requires a new sim to avoid problems later on.The only question I have is why you would want to use TracPhone anyway? They are one of the worst value phone plans around, and are not the easiest company to deal with…they are known primarily for cheap “burner” phones with expensive talk plans. Port your number to a legitimate company like MetroPCS and get a couple free months of service or a free phone (depending on what promotion they have at the moment) and you will be much better off…
Should I root my phone?
I've been reading about people rooting their Android phones and I've been thinking about rooting mine but I don't know much about it. 1. What does it mean when your phone is in risk of being bricked? What does the term brick mean? 2. Will this effect any extra charges on my plan? 3. I assume its bad if your phone gets bricked so am I able to get a new one with the Sprint insurance if this does happen? 4. What are the benefits? 5. What are some things I should avoid so that my phone doesn't become bricked when it is rooted? 6. How do I root my HTC EVO Shift? Please tell me any other extra information that would be helpful to me about rooting my phone please.
How do I unlock my iPhone without a SIM card?
You don't need an active SIM card to activate an iPhone; any SIM card that matches the carrier that an iPhone is locked to will work, or if the iPhone is unlocked, any SIM card should do. Should I get an HTC EVO or iPhone 3GS?
So I'm looking to upgrade my iPhone 3G to something. My contract is up at ATT so I have options. My two favorite phones right now are android and iPhone obviously. However I do not want an iPhone 4. I know this is not an equal comparison because iPhone 4 is similar to evo but these are the choices I want. there is no point in spending a bunch of money to get a phone that has a known signal and camera problem. So my question is evo vs 3gs. What's your opinion? AT&T or sprint - prices, plans, coverage, etc. Please answer for the phone(s) you have and please no bashing one phone or the other with no facts behind them.
