Can I get payday loans with bad credit?

The basic loan process involves a lender providing a short-term unsecured loan to be repaid at the borrower's next payday. Typically, some verification of employment or income is involved (via pay stubs and bank statements), although according to one source, some payday lenders do not verify income or run credit checksIndividual companies and franchises have their own underwriting criteria. In the traditional retail model, borrowers visit a payday lending store and secure a small cash loan, with payment due in full at the borrower's next paycheck. The borrower writes a postdated cheque to the lender in the full amount of the loan plus fees. On thematurity date, the borrower is expected to return to the store to repay the loan in person. If the borrower does not repay the loan in person, the lender may redeem the cheque. If the account is short on funds to cover the check, the borrower may now face a bounced check fee from their bank in addition to the costs of the loan, and the loan may incur additional fees or an increased interest rate (or both) as a result of the failure to pay.In the more recent innovation of online payday loans, consumers complete the loan application online (or in some instances via fax, especially where documentation is required). The funds are then transferred by direct deposit to the borrower's account, and the loan repayment and/or the finance charge is electronically withdrawn on the borrower's next payday.

What do you do when you urgently need a $5,000 loan & you have bad credit, no pay stubs, and no family members you can ask for it? (I do have a job.)

I'm going to give you an answer, but I'm going to preface it with some thoughts about what I think is your situation. I'm writing this as someone who knows from experience what it is like to be in dire financial straits.Whatever the reason behind your need for cash, having “bad credit” (in quotes because it's a nebulous term) is your own doing. For whatever reason, you've accrued a record of not meeting your financial obligations consistently. Depending on how “bad” your credit is, it's unlikely that any legitimate financial outlet will take on the risk of lending money when the odds of getting the money back seem to be so long. You say you don't have any pay stubs to show a prospective lender. I'm guessing that you're working for cash under the table, evading taxes. That's another factor that would cause anyone—whether institutional or personal—to think twice about throwing even $100 away, let alone $5,000.I surmise that your need for this sum of money so urgently is somehow connected to a lack of foresight or some other avoidable circumstances. I mention all this not to criticize—the last thing you want to hear—but to urge you, as someone who's been there, to put a high priority on getting your act together. No pay stubs? Make it a priority to get a job. One that pays regularly and legitimately. They're out there, even if they aren't what you really want to do.With all that said, here are some suggestions:If you have any assets you can sell, do that.If you owe money to a person or company, see if you can negotiate with them. Is there a possibility of a payment arrangement? If it's for something like back rent, change your living arrangements, even if you have to spend some time couch surfing so you can salt away some moneyWhat I recommend NOT doing is going to any of the last-ditch “lenders” out there. You may feel like you've solved an immediate problem, but with your history, you'd be simply postponing the inevitable. Things would ultimately get worse. Much worse.I know none of this is anything you wanted to hear, but it's true. It's time to reassess.I hope everything somehow works out for you.

What happens if I don't pay my hospital bill, from an emergancy visit.?

I would definitely try to make arrangements with the hospital. Some Hospitals will provide financial assistance and lower your bill considerably.

Then make payment arrangements to pay the balance, some will let you pay as little as $25 a month.

Don't forget that the Radiology Bills, and Emergency Physician Bill will be a whole different deal. Sometimes they will cut you a deal if the hospital has. Then make arrangements to pay them a small amount every month too.

Keep proof of all of the above and of any correspondence or payment arrangements made.

How do I know all of this? I have been there! I am currently paying on 2 emergency room visits, and just lately the Emergency Physician Billing place has been giving me a hard time, even with me making payments on time. Luckily, I have proof of my payment arrangements, so the situation has been cleared up.

Not paying a Doctor/Hospital Bill can ruin your life, your credit, everything!

9 years ago, I was in the hospital for a week; I had cat scans, iv drugs, the whole shebang. No insurance and about a $8,000 bill.

I thought I could get away with not paying it, and no one ever called me, or sent me collection notices or anything. Out of sight, out of mind, right?

6 years later I get served with a Garnishment Suit, and risked losing my job over it!!!!

I had no choice but to file Bankruptcy and now I am having to completely rebuild my financial life! Please don't make the same mistake!

Hope this helps! Good luck!

Will an unpaid emergency room bill keep me from being able to buy health insurance, OR hurt my credit rating?

I have an emergency room bill which I have not yet paid and I'm wondering if it will keep me from being able to buy a health insurance policy and if the unpaid bill hurts my credit rating. The letters they send says it will hurt my credit rating, but most people tell me they're just trying to scare me and that ER bills don't hurt your credit rating. Anybody here know for SURE?
