Help On Sm Entertainment Global Auditions; Most Likely Via Email.

SM Entertainment Global Audition 2010?

1.) it depends on them, if they think that you're fine on debuting early. then they will. but for my opinion. i think you'll gonna debut early cause' your pretty and u have sum skills. XD

2.)maybe not, cause it's not in Asia country. cause i heard that they most likely choose Asian people. I've never heard Sm entertainment accept non-Asian people.

3.) you can send your audition video to Sm entertainment, their email is. audition@smtown.com / smaudition@smtown.com. and if you want to audition LIVE. visit their Sm Company. :)

4.) Hm, you can visit their official website about global audition 2010.

SM Entertainment Email Audition?

hey! i sent an online audition email to SM entertainment a few days ago, so hope i can help (:

ah, yeah, they do look at the emails, at least they looked at mine :D
you could put a fancy title, i just typed "online audition". LOL

1 - From what i've heard, if you become a trainee you will be taught Korean, and basic Chinese and Japanese and probably English as well. I guess its pretty good you already know two then (:

2 - I think so. I'm around the same height, and from what i've seen, many korean singers aren't very tall.

3 - Pretty sure thats fine. I only sang for mine. But you might have more of a chance if they see that you can sing and dance

4 - Well, from what i've learnt, they only listen to about the first 10 seconds of your clip, so try and start with the part you feel best shows your abilities.
I did a slower song, but i would say just choose a song that you feel comfortable with and fits your voice.

5 - yes, do not edit them. They want fresh faces, and not some photoshopped picture.

6 - it says on their website about what you need to include in the email.

7 - I received a reply about five days after i sent mine in. But i am not sure if they send something back to every participant.

Good Luck!

S.M. Entertainment 2009 auditions?

1. The Global Auditions will be held only in Korea for 2009 but the U.S. does auditions every Saturday in 4322 Wilshire Blvd. Suite 300 Los Angeles, CA 90010 from 3pm-6pm.

2. I'm planning to audition through email and send them a clip of me acting and singing and I'm also planning to audition live when I get a chance because I all the way in the New York area, but from what I heard from many people who have auditioned, if you audition for singing they'll have you sing part of a song and dance freestyle to a random song they choose. If they're interested they'll ask you to sing another song a second time. For acting, they'll ask you to act freestyle with a script provided by you. Modeling, you do a model position. For music composer you can bring in a CD of your sample music.

There's more information at http://audition.smtown.com

P.S.- You can also audition at home if you live too far away from L.A. and email your application and a short clip of your performance. If they seem interested they will contact you within a month and you'll most likely gonna have to perform live. With Global Auditions, if you get past they first round, (you'll know because they'll call you within a month) you're gonna have to perform in front of a small crowd.

How do you send an audition to SM Entertainment?

Well, there’s something called an online audition, where you send a video of yourself dancing, singing, rapping etc, (but you most definitely have to dance). Since you asked how to send an audition so SM, then yea record yourself and I think you email it or you just somehow find a way to send it to SM. I suggest not going to the weekly auditions, or monthly ones, as those aren’t considered as real. Try a global audition when i comes around. And btw, if you’re not asian, i’m not gonna say you can’t audition, but chances are you’re more likely not gonna be accepted as to you not being asian.i know, stupid.

How to audition for SM entertainment?

Ok I'm gonna answer your questions honestly
1) If you audition in Korea you'll have a better chance to make it, e-mail/global audition you have to be very talented to make it so its harder.
2)No but companies hardly ever accept anyone over 20 but you're only 16 so go for it. Trainees have been accepted at that age before but you should probably audition for a different company since SM wants young people
3)SM mainly takes people who are great dancers and even if you audition for singing you still have to do a rhythm test and dance. If you're a bad singer then they might train you in rapping more
If you're pretty then you have a better chance of making it since most companies take good looking people and train them. But if you have talent, you will be accepted also. Alot of people have been accepted because they were good lookin even though they couldn't sing or dance but they worked hard to learn those skills
4)You're kinda short but you'll probably have to wear heals. If you look at all the korean idols they're all tall
5)Go ahead and sing an English song, you're expected to sing a song you're good at. But prepare a korean song too and other song because if you're good they might ask for more and if you're someone they are interested in they'll contact you in a couple of month or weeks
6)They'll make you whiten your skin plus before groups debut they pick who needs to get plastic surgery and who doesn't. Korean groups are usually balanced with someone that is amazing at something like someone in the group is the best singer, or dancer, rapper, best lookin/personality, ect... and since you say you're average at pretty much everything you will have a low chance of being accepted.
7)First of all you have to be confident, why are you even gonna audition if you know you're not gonna make it? Be like this other trainee that disobeyed his parents and bought himself a ticket to Korean and audition and ended up making it
If you want to go to college then companies most likely pay for you and you can go to college but your chances of debuting is low because you basically train from 7am to 10pm unless you're willing to put in the extra work. If you do make it and want to go to college, do it after you debut which might take a couple of years depending on other factors.

Good luck!

What are the requirements if you audition the SM Entertainment?

Sm has strict requirements for their auditions. For singing and rapping, they don’t want MR. Do it in without any music just your voice and record about a minute of it. (if you are sending it in) For dancing, you choose a song and dance for about a minute. Make sure you do things that you can do. Don’t try risky things because if it goes badly, it will not look good. For modeling, send in a catwalk and a couple poses. Again, do things that show your good side. Don’t be overboard and do weird things. For composing, send in some of your best work. They also require you to send information, such as date of birth, height/weight, gender, age, etc, about yourself. Be truthful during this.On Sm’s page, they tell you the requirements. Hope that helps!

What's a good time to audition for SM Entertainment?

What exactly do you mean by time? Do you mean age? If you are talking about age, then probably anywhere between 13-20 is ideal, but you should still audition if your between 10-25. Do you mean actual time? Well, SM have finished this years global auditions, but are likely to have them again nex year. There really isn't a “good time" or a “bad time” to audition. It really just depends on the person auditioning. Audition when you are ready to.
