I want to make a Yahoo! Auction account. They only have Yahoo auctions at the Japanese website . I have tried to log in with my U.S.A yahoo account, but it keeps saying that my password or username is incorrect. I have checked and KNOW that I am using the correct password an username. They have a different word for a postal address. *Edit To the person below and the second question, it's telling you to add your phone number in half-width characters. When you type in Japanese, numbers and letters appear really spaced out, if you press space they go together again like normal. Otherwise switch the typing style to English and enter the phone number.

I think you used machine translation or something to get the page you showed us. Because the original page must be in Japanese. And no one in Japan requires you to enter your date of birth like "19,800,501". It's a mistake of machine translation. Just enter it without "," as others suggest.
