How to make my iPod 4th generation let me use Snapchat?
That is odd. Snapchat is compatible with the iPod 4th generation. Maybe one of these tips will help you: - Is the software on your iPod up to date? That maybe be a problem - Are you sure your iPod is 4th generation? (Although it probably is, you wouldn't be using snapchat if you didn't have a camera) - It could be that the cause of it not working is the jailbreak. On the apple app website https://itunes.apple.com/us/app/snapchat/id447188370?mt=8 it says under requirements that it's compatible with iPod touch (4th generation) and your software needs to be updated to at least iOS 5. So my guess would be, it's either the software which you haven't updated, or the jailbreak is the cause of it not working.

Trying to make a snapchat but always have a connection error?
So I'm trying to sign up for SnapChat on my iPhone but i'm running into technical issues I can't seem to find any documentation of online. I'm at the screen where I choose my username but everytime I type the username I want and hit continue it says "Could Not Connect. Please check your connection and try again." This doesn't make sense since I am connected to wi-fi and my 3G network, and my internet browser on my phone works fine. Does anyone have any advice?
"Could not refresh messages" Error on Snapchat?
I've had Snapchat for many months and all day today the app has been saying "Could not refresh messages. Please try again" every time I try and refresh my messages. My phone is connected to the WiFi in my house and other apps that require WiFi are working completely fine. I've tried uninstalling and re-installing the app again, I've tried restarting my WiFi, I've tried clearing Snapchat's cache and I've I've also tried restarting my phone. Snapchat also works when I turn the WiFi option off and I use my 3G. Does anyone have any ideas on how this could possibly be solved? Thanks a lot :)
Google Play services error with Snapchat on Kindle Fire HDX?
Every time i try to log into snapchat on my kindle as of the V9 update it puts up a banner that inhibits me from using the app at all that says; "This app won't run without Google Play services, which are missing from your tablet." I tried putting Google Play services on my kindle multiple times and then trying Snapchat but each time it would just throw up another banner saying how it wasn't supported on this device. I've also tried downgrading Snapchat versions so I could log in on that and bypass the banner login screen but it just said I couldn't log in on an outdated version and asked me to upgrade. I would really appreciate a fix for this as this is my primary means of communication with multiple people.

My phone is rooted and Snapchat is not allowing me to log in, what can I do to hide my root?
Firstly I cant believe people post answers here without even trying it.To make things clear YES snapchat does not allow a user to login if the device is tweaked. It is not only root but also if xposed is installed it won't login.There are two ways to go about it. Incase your ROM is pre-rooted then the second is your best option.1. You need to unroot your device and if using xposed then uninstall xposed. To do this assuming you have superSU. In settings you have an option to enable superuser untick that. And if xposed is installed then from your xposed installer uninstall xposed(if using L or above then you need to flash the uninstall zip that is provided with the xposed installation). Reboot your device after doing it.Once both root and xposed are removed you will be able to login to snapchat. Once logged in. You can enable root and SuperSU as well as install xposed, snapchat will continue to work normally as long as you don't logout. (Incase you still get the login error then completely clean root from SuperSU settings and install it back after logging in.)2. This method requires another device which isn't rooted. Is useful for ROMs which are pre-rooted. Install snapchat on a second device and login. Once logged in, root the device and using titanium backup create a backup of snapchat. Transfer the backup to the primary device and restore only data of snapchat using titanium backup. This needs to be done only once. Anytime it gets logged off you can restore data using titanium. (I am not completely sure but I think you would have to leave snapchat logged in on the second device)I have tried the first method and it works. The second method I have tried for other apps and works fine, should work for snapchat too.
