Help tonsil stones won't come out!?
I was confused about these, and googled to find out they were tonsil stones, me being the paranoid person I am had to get them out! I got one, but it seems fatter back there's one that's in it's own little crevasse and I've tried everything! I've gargles two different types of mouthwash, gargles water, coughed, used my toothbrush, used a q-tip, even my finger! Help!!
Tonsil Stones won't go away??
I have had a problem with tonsil stones for awhile now. I am about to be a senior in high school and I have had this problem non stop since about the summer after 8th grade so a few years now. I brush my teeth 2 times a day and floss and use a crest mouthwash at night. However it has gotten worse over the passed few months. All I have to do is kinda squeeze my tonsils together and they come falling out its really disgusting :p I don't have bad breath or like a weird taste in my mouth like I have read a lot of people normally do. So I don't know what to do. Are they just gonna recommend me getting my tonsils removed. The only time it really like bugs me like on a day to day is when I'm like running or working out and breathe heavy I feel like there is a lump or with certain food I sometimes have trouble swallowing but I have chocked on some food before so it may just be me thinking about it and like nervous to swallow:p so
Do I have tonsil stones?
Well if it was a tonsil stones, sometimes you won't notice it in your tonsil crypt (most of the time!) and sometimes you also won't notice yourself having bad breath. I've personally suffered from tonsil stones almost all my life until recently. I tried therabreath, breathrx, profresh seriously EVERYTHING on the market and absolutely nothing worked! The only thing I've just recently found that keeps tonsil stones and bad breath (even though you may not have bad breath) away is grapefruit seed extract. Some help with tonsil stones please?
So I am pretty sure this lump on my tonsil is a tonsil stone. I know they are not harmful and I do get them sometimes. When researching them I read that they are most prevalent in people with tonsillitis or people who's tonsils swell often. Is that true? Or does everyone get them because I haven't had a problem with my tonsils since I was 9 or 10 and now I am 19.
How to get rid of tonsil stones?
There are two ways of getting rid of tonsil stones with surgical or self treatment. Tonsil Stones Stuck, PLEASE HELP?
i wash my hands and put pressure on my tonsils and squeeze them out. some times i use a hair pin to help me scoop them out. i want to have my tonsils removed this year. i can't live like this any longer. it's so embarrassing. i'm scared to kiss my bf because i'm to afraid that my breathe might smell because of these stones. i walk around with listerine, tooth brush, and tooth paste. people say they go away but i discovered them since i was 9 years old and they are there just the same.
