What are some good names for a class magazine?

If this is for a college/university/school, anything that plays off the school mascot or lore can work (ex. Panther Press) because it can help create a good sense of camaraderie among the readers, build school spirit, and help them better relate to the magazine material if its student news related.Ex: Campus Chronicles, Paw Press (alot of schools have animal mascots), Student Life, Student Voices, College Life, GradMagAny cool/powerful word with a solid meaning or good intention could work. It helps if you brainstorm buzz words based on what the intent of your magazine is. Is it to share student reflections/creative works? Is is just for news? Does it have a a certain viewpoint it wants to express? Determining what kind of content the magazine is going to be comprised of can be a big help towards helping you find that awesome defining word.Spectrum, Discover, The Script, Prism, Horizons, Happenings, Reflections, The View, Buzz, The Grapevine, Gateway, Catalyst, The Wire, Time Out, Pause, Coverage, Spark, Forward, Trace, Vision, Pulse, Legacy, Update, Epic, The EchoYou could also always throw in the obligatory magazine endings to bulk up your title, although this may not fit your needs:Life, Monthly, Digest, Daily, Journal, Illustrated, Week, Reports, Today, Times, Chronicle, Pulse, Central, Mag, Press…ex. Film Week, Oracle Daily, Buzz MagazineWithout knowing what the material is going to be or the magazine’s purpose this is a shot in the dark, but I hope this gives you some good ideas!

Please Help Me Brainstorm Magazine Name Ideas?

Not my genre, but I'll try:

First Elfen Lied is like a lyrical mind f*** with some interesting action and gore. Pretty good actually.

11 Eyes: A fantasy thriller that will screw with your head. Short, only 13 episodes with a satisfying ending.

Berserk: Not a mystery but it fits all you sub categories. Very cool, very classic, very bloody, and with surprises that will mess with your head.

Case Closed: Classic murder mystery and extremely long, but is closer to young adult material rather than mature.

Kindaichi: Another old school murder mystery. Well written and is one of the forerunners for its genr

What might be a good name for a college magazine?

Well first of all thanks for the A2A.I did some research, which, if I may add, was quite enlightening for me as well and I have infact come up with a suggestion but it is completely on your discretion to acknowledge it or look out for better options. EPISTEME[1] I think is a good option for the name of the college magazine.I say so because, this term which is actually an Ancient Greek term, simply translates to knowledge and understanding. Now let me tell you why I think this could be a good potential choice:It's not a common term that you would expect most people to have come across and will catch one's attention. It goes really well with the concept of a campus magazine I think. A magazine is essentially a tool of communication which aims at providing knowledge regarding various topics of interest. And thus Episteme. You can also use names which are Alliterative as that can help make the the name more catchy.  Hope this helps. Good luck.Footnotes[1] Episteme

Can you suggest a name for online magazine?

You need to decide on the editorial perspective, subject area (if there is one such as international travel or basketball) and any other constant that will set your publication apart from those already online. If you hope to make a profit from your enterprise, you also need to consider your potential source of income. Most publications (online or on paper) derive most of their income from advertising although Readers Digest published for many years without any ads whatsoever, deriving all its income from its readers. Its first ads made national headlines. I think I was perhaps 8 at the time but still remember my parents talking about it.These are simply a few suggestions to consider. How much money you have for your venture and how many people will be involved (as well as their various strengths) ae all important. Look at any magazine’s list of staff members from editor and publisher on down through the editorial and sales departments. That is what will separate your end program from the rest of the pack.It will be a lot of work but hopefully will be rewarding too. Best of luck to you.
