Language arts help?

. In an entry dated July 15, 1944, Anne writes the following:

…in spite of everything I still believe that people are really good at heart. I simply can’t build my hopes on a foundation consisting of confusion, misery, and death. I see the world gradually being turned into a wilderness, I hear the ever approaching thunder, which will destroy us too, I can feel the sufferings of millions and yet, if I look up into the heavens, I think that it will all come right, that this cruelty too will end, and that peace and tranquillity will return again.

What important aspects of Anne’s personality does this excerpt capture? What do these personality traits suggest about Anne’s maturity? How do excerpts like this one affect readers of the diary?

I have this project to do in Language Arts, and I need to know some information about biomedical engineers. What are some important things about this occupation?

Biomedical engineer here!BMEs come in several different forms. Most of it is a mix of mechanical, electrical and computer engineering all grouped up into one. Or you could specialize in the direction you want to go in.I studied biomechanics but would prefer to go in the bioinformatics direction. However, this field can be divided into so many different specializations:Bioinformatics - uses CS and biology knowledge. For example, using coding languages such as python or R to solve human genomics problems.Biomechanics - making human prosthetics such as knee or hip implantsBiomaterials - researching new materials that are compatible with the bodyNeuroengineering - lots of human physiology involved here regarding the brain and the nervous system. Involves both stem cell experiments and a CS component to it if you are going in the direction of brain-computer interfaces.Biosensors - basically about building sensors that can answer help detect problems in the body like heart rate monitors, glucose monitors etc. Has both an ECE and a CS component to it.

Art Project: What should I do?

It sounds like your teacher is giving you an exercise in creative thinking. By giving you only one thing to consider ("The Meeting"), he/she is trying to introduce you to a way of thinking about a problem. You say you can do whatever you like, paint, draw etc. But you don't mention anything about what exactly you WANT to paint, draw sculpt. The METHOD of doing the project is secondary to what you want to actually do around the theme of 'The Meeting".It might help to break it down into mind map. A mind map is a way of helping to sort out your thoughts. Something like this: What does "The Meeting" mean to you? In the example above, maybe it could mean "Office". Thinking about an office, maybe you think of computers, chairs, desks, people.Try doing this to generate different ideas about what 'the meeting' could be to you. Then choose one of these and think about whats the best method of do something with it. Maybe you can paint a picture to describe a meeting between people. Or maybe you might think a sculpture might be better. Regardless there is no right or wrong way to complete this assignment.Hope that helps.
