Help With Super Oily Skin

How to get rid of oily skin?

Put corn starch on your face with a powder brush. I promise it works. Just try it, put it on lightly and you will be oil free for the next few hours (in my experience) It works great, my mom use to use it to get the oil out of her hair when she didn't wanna wash it, works the same on faces!

HELP! Super oily skin and no blotting papers!?

My mom won't go out and buy me any blotting papers and I have super oily skin. I mean, I have to blot every hour to an hour and a half and my face is super shiny by then. I can't walk anywhere to go buy it, and powder doesn't help keep the oil from coming through. What can I do to keep my face from getting oily tomorrow if I can't go out and buy anything? I'm so mad because I absolutely need them. I'm so self conscious about my oily face, more than my acne. No one else has a more oily face than I do at school and it's so embarrassing.

My hair and face get super oily... why?

i have to wash my hair everyday.. and i use oil free makeup and face wash why is this happening? it sucks!! help please :( (i eat pretty healthy oil free food and drink only water and tea so i dont think my eating habits have anything to do with it)

Does drinking water help oily skin?

Water Consumption & Oily SkinKeep your skin healthy by drinking plenty of water.Proper water consumption affects many different aspects of health and wellness, including how well the body can maintain and regulate oil production in the skin, according to the UCLA Student Nutrition Awareness Campaign. If you suffer from excessively oily skin, drinking the appropriate amount of water can potentially help you regulate your skin's oil production so that it becomes less oily over time.Functions of Water in the BodyWater is a vital part in keeping the body's organs and systems functioning properly. Since the skin is actually an organ, this includes the skin. When your skin is dehydrated, the skin can become sallow, dry and cracked. The oil glands in the skin will start to overproduce oils and sebum to compensate for the lack of hydration, which leads to oily skin and acne. To rectify the overproduction of oil in the skin, it is important to consume enough water throughout the day.Effects on Oily SkinDrink between 64 and 80 ounces of water every day, which will effectively moisten and hydrate the entire body, inside and out. Once the skin is properly hydrated, the oil glands will receive signals from the brain that excess oil is no longer needed, and will consequently slow down the oil production in the skin. This results in a normalization of skin oils and a reduction in acne breakouts.Source: Water Consumption & Oily Skin | LIVESTRONG.COM

My skin is EXTREMELY oily! PLEASE HELP! I've tried everything.?

Okay, so my skin is extremely oily. I'm a BOY, and I use my MOMS blotting sheets sometimes because my face is so oily. I don't have acne anymore, because I use prescription topicals, but they still haven't dried out my face! I use Tazorac Gel .1% every Monday, Wed, and Friday night, and Duac Gel every other night. Along with that I take Minocycline once a day, at 100mg. The Tazorac hasn't even dried out my skin, although it's supposed to. PLEASE don't tell my face is just overproducing oil, because I'm basically just stripping the oil off the surface. I was my face about 3 times a day, and it's just crazy on how oily my skin is. I have no idea what to do. I've tried Milk of Magnesia, Oil Control Lotion, etc, but after 45 minutes, my skin is already shiny. I don't want my skin to by dry, I want it to be a little dewy, but not to the point where it's just disgusting and gross looking. What should I do?

My face is super oily and with summer time coming...?

i have oily skin...within 20 to 30 min of leaving my house... i've been using Lancome Pure Focus Gel Mattifier and its great...you can use it alone or under make up. i love the stuff so much i got the lotion version as well. but the gels my favorite...its about $28 for a gel tube but should last a long time... i use about a pea size on each cheek and my nose...the lotion runs about $34....but its worth it...try getting it from Sephora so you can return it if it doesnt help.
