Hey Guys I I Just Customized My Computer Tell Me What You Think Im New To This

My son is buying a custom built computer system worth $18,000 - do you think this is taking it to the extreme, considering it comes with no keyboard, mouse or monitor?

Professionally, I would advise that unless your son is getting into high level development or CAD areas that may require a veritable super computer, that the system would be…over kill for 99% of all applications I could think of.PERSONALLY, I think that is fucking badass and will be a monster of a system that would make me probably giggle like a school girl at the thought of “getting under it's hood”. Look. I'll be honest. $18,000 is a lot of money. If he has that to blow, and he wants to do it on a computer, sure. It's a free country. My personal system sits around the $6500 range, but I also use it for virtual applications and other such projects along the lines of work that you could be familiar to. I'm one of those IT guys that has a hard-on for hardware. I love building “dream PCs” and going over the top with everything from max this, max that, custom water loops, individually wired RGB controllers and lights. The works. If he's passionate about it, and as long as he knows that he will never really NEED that much power. Go for it.Tl;Dr Sure. It's a little much, but come on. If he can easily afford it enough to consider it, I could think of worst things to throw money at.P.s If you happen to be in the Tampa area and would want someone to make sure it's built right and test it…….

Help with Realistic/Optimus SH-24 tweeter, trying to build custom computer speaker?

I couldn't find any more specs on this model. However, I do know this; Your tweeter is just that, a tweeter. You will need a generic x-over, such as a highpass @ 2000-3000Hz, with a slope of 12db, or maybe 18db. You will also need an outboard amp, as computers' only output a variable, pre-amp, level signal.
It;s also very important to know the impedance(perhaps on the back side of unit, for that tweeter.
If that info isn't listed anywhere, go to some place, like Radio Shack and use one of their volt-ohmmeters, and meter for DC resistance. They should be able to ascertain what the impedance is. DC resistance and impedance will be slightly different.

I forgot to add, that you would need to add a woofer. Telling you any more would be absolutely pointless. You won't even come close building with a $100 budget.
Bottom line is the most logical way to go is spending around $50 by getting powered PC speakers. At this price, the best you're going to get is a tweeter and midrange sound.

Hey how can i install custom skins for mac? (league of legends)?

I've actually been looking all over the place for installing custom skins on a mac. Sorry, but I couldn't find any. The easiest way would be to go to Wooxy.com. I think there's someone who described how to do it, but you'd need League installed on a Windows computer. Just do CTRL+F and type in "mac", and press the arrows on the window thing that shows on the bottom until you see a comment with a sort of essay-structure attached to it. On mac, you just press CMD+F and do the same thing. Anyways, it's a lot of work, which I didn't do because i have internet issues, so the League client can't patch on my windows computer. I'm only 14, so I can't get any money income either. (Your English isn't bad at all, it's just that the punctuation is wrong, haha)

How do you add custom macros to a Datel Turbo Fire 2 controller?

Hey guys I have a Datel Turbo Fire 2 controller for Xbox 360, and I know you can add pre made macros for games like Afro Samuri, Lego Batman, Street Fighter, etc. but can you program your own? I am interested in doing something for commendation boosting in Halo Reach, IE Right Trigger > Start > A > UP > A so I could AFK boost headshots in campaign while I'm away. I have looked lots of places but can find no solid answer. Thanks for any help!

What are some things non-programmers say that frustrate programmers?

One day, in a meeting with a project manager from one of our clients:“InfoSec department contacted me. They say that the HTTP requests contain sensitive information, so they shouldn’t be sent in plain text. I want you to take care of this.”There is no sensitive information that is sent over plain HTTP, but fucking customers are always right, right?“OK, it’s doesn’t seem very difficult, I think we can do this using…”“Anyway, I know how to do this. You just hash the request body using md5, send it that way, and then de-hash the request body on the server side. This is so easy, you can do this in a day.”See? When you are a non-programmer, you can do everything, and that includes claiming that implementing custom encryption is so easy and it can be done in a single day. Better yet, it’s even easier when you use a hashing algorithm, md5 in this case, that is built to not have a way to de-hash.I wish I also had been a non-programmer (not really, but yeah). Then I could go around, spilling this shit everywhere I go, and yeah. So much fun overall.Dear non-programmers who are reading this shit: I wrote this shit because you can read it. When you read it, you can go to the meetings and tell people to de-hash md5, claiming that it’s so easy, so that you can frustrate more programmers. At the end of the day, you’re getting paid to frustrate the programmers, right?Better yet, if one programmer doesn’t know the fact that md5 is un-dehashable and tells you that he/she will look into it and contact you back about whether or not it can be done and how long it can take, you can hold him accountable to the fact that he didn’t say “no” on the spot, let alone insulting you, and make him invent the inverse function of md5 (or quit his job, which seems much more possible and probable).Thank God, I knew md5 has no inverse function at the time of the meeting. We used an insecure way of encoding the request body and that was good enough for their infosec department.

How can I create custom sprites/avatars for my JavaScript game?

Hey guys I'm making an indie JavaScript 2d 'chibi' style platformer and I'm looking to create my own original characters. I'm having trouble finding good software that's free and easy to use. Can someone point me in the right directions.

I also am considering just drawing out individual pieces of the character (ex: one piece for the top of the arm and one piece for the bottom) so that instead of creating multiple sprites I can just rotate the pieces and put them together. Previously I was doing something similar in ms paint, but paint doesn't allow for rotating it in custom angles (only 90 degrees).

So any suggestions for my spritesheet.
I know there's simple online sprite creators, but honestly I think those look a little old fashion/like old games.

Looking to create something more like this:
