Why do Americans fear and dislike Russia?Americans are afraid of the Russians? Don't tell me that. When I saw this question, Iimmediately contacted my American friends and asked-why Americans are afraid ofthe Russians? They ordered me to throw those nonsense out of my head. Most Americans are afraid of losing their jobs/businesses. Then they are afraid that their favourite football team loses the match. And finally they fear that the fact of an affair they opened with a neighbour MILF is known and that means trouble. Thus, we are not dealing here with the fear, but the prejudice that is widely spread among the humans in general and particularly strong among Americans, given how little they know about the culture of other peoples on Earth.Some answers here addressed propaganda already. It will be interesting to compare the Soviet propaganda to the American. There is a very distinct difference between the two. While Soviet propaganda by and large, was directed against the capitalist pigs - not against suffering American people - American propagandadiffered by its thrust against Russians, each Russian personally, cause were considered carriers of the Communist contagion. It seems to me that thisprejudice is so die-hard that even today the average American is stuck init up to his ears despite the fact that communism in Russia ceased to existsome thirty years ago. How exactly DID Russian hacking "rig" the election?
As far as I can tell, all anyone is even CLAIMING they did (and I'm still not sure I buy that it was Russians) was to hack the DNC server, steal some emails, and release those emails via wiki-leaks (a former Liberal darling) to the public. Now, all that is ILLEGAL whoever did it, no question. But how did it "rig" an election? As far as I can tell, all they did was ... and I can't believe we're accusing the Russians of this ... was TELL THE TRUTH. Seriously!! Is this what we mean by "rig the election"?!?! The Russians (or whoever hacked the DNC server) simply told THE TRUTH about what was in those emails. And THIS, evidently, "rigged" an election? THE TRUTH ... RIGGED and election?!?! If the TRUTH about you causes people to not vote for you, then you don't deserve to win. It's not about "fairness" or any of that crap. If people find out the TRUTH about you, and that Truth HURTS you ... then it's YOUR OWN FAULT!!! How are Libs blaming the RUSSIANS (or whoever hacked the server) for this and not the MORONS who sent these emails in the first place? Basic rule of potentially embarrassing communications: DO NOT SEND BY EMAIL or any other electronically recorded means. Even if the Russians did EXACTLY what the Libs are claiming, how can you call that "Rigging an election"?

They can’t believe anyone voted for someone who has spouted so much hate speech, who has so few coherent ideas, and whose tendencies seem too patently autocratic.It’s not about liberals feeling “superior”: it’s about us being morally aghast that you guys got behind a demi-man who called Mexicans “rapists” in his campaign announcement, has degraded women, attacked anyone who dares criticize him, waged a systematic war on the very free press whose constant attention to him probably factored in his victory, attacked a Gold Star family and compared his “sacrifices” as real-estate billionaire to those of the young and dead Muslim-American soldier Humayun Khan, who besmirched John McCain’s status as a war hero — when was Trump ever in Vietnam?, who wants to create a registry for Muslims (much as Hitler did for Jews — bad precedent), who has the zealous support of the KKK, who cozied up to Putin (whose government interfered in the election — in the country whose security the president is supposed to ensure), who has been nominating plutocrats and alt-right loons to very lofty and powerful positions, who promises to deport millions and break up families, to “build a Wall and make Mexico pay for it” (good luck), who will lead us into trade wars and likely encourage fiscal policy that will lead to another huge financial meltdown, calls climate change a hoax propagated by China (and therefore embraces destructive industries and deregulation, and has no agenda to help mitigate the first anthropogenic extinction in our planet’s history), etc., etc., etc.We are disappointed to think we live in a country in which our fellow citizens think that these things are presidential, that they befit the leader of the free world. We are horrified to think that America elected its own image, and that image is this. The man’s affronts to common decency and infantile vulnerability to any provocation should have disqualified him in the minds of all decent and sane people.So what the fuck happened? I am no great fan of Hillary’s. I don’t think Washington is functioning properly. But electing this wholly selfish, power-hungry golem to our highest office was not a wise alternative.It’s not so much about superiority. The feeling is “This is America in the twenty-first century! How could you?”
Conservative Vrs. Liberal or is it really Urban Vrs. Rural?
Warning, generalization: Rural voters tend to vote based on moral, family, spiritual issues which the Conservative party has recently hijacked. Nothing wrong with voting based on what you believe but there is this mentality that Liberals are "immoral". Urban voters tend to be more accepting of the way people live their lives but are more concerned about economic issues such as welfare and insurance since the cities are expensive. The Liberal party has been seen as the bastion for civil rights and government spending but think Conservatives are greedy and backwards. Really, it could come down to class warfare, but it seems strange. Rural people are generally less wealthy so you would think they would want more government spending. People in the city have better jobs and would want less spending. I think it comes right down to divisions on social/family/spiritual issues. Red states are "non-progressive" or "backwards" and Blue States are "progressive" but "immoral and wrong". Sorry for the long answer. Just my thoughts.
Trump supporters wore t-shirts saying they would rather be Russian than Democrats. To what extent can this be taken seriously, and where do Trump's base and the GOP's loyalties lie if Trump has been treasonous/acting against the USA?
There was a question circulating on YouTube where people were asked if they would rather their child have cancer or feminism. They had to think about it in many cases.Being a presidential supporter - I do trust Russians more than Democrats at this point. The Russians know that Communism/Socialism is bad they have the mass graves to prove it. The Russians do not want firearms collected in the US. The Russians are not for 40 week abortions. The Russians do not want a 70% tax rate. I trust the Democrats about as far as a I can toss a Buick. If I had to invite a random Russian or a random Democrat to dinner - I would be doing shots with Vlad. I probably have more in common with Vlad!Would that it were not so that the Democrats had run so far to the left that they would not be recognized by Bill Clinton era Democratic Party standards. In fact Bill would most likely have to run as a Republican now. Or change his skin entirely which is what the Democrats are pro at. Republicans are pro at not changing even when maybe they should. That way they can set that at his door as well.Calling 60 million (the number of people who voted for Trump) treasonous is a great way to alienate a third of the country. Taken widely enough it is a great way to begat a civil war. Which I believe the Left is OK with as long as they get to rule the shattered Republic.
