Hi How Can Learn Phonetics Of English Thank You

I need an english-farsi translation?

My husband has a teacher appreciation day next week, and it is being held by the persian community. I would like to learn some type of Persian greeting ('hello, nice to meet you" etc). Are there any Persians out there who can give me advice and a *phonetic* translation...I've tried every online translator out there (yes, even BabelFish) and the only translations I can get are in Persian text.

Any advice appreciated! THANK YOU

English phonetics for the Greek Creed?

I see. So in other words you want phonetics in Greeklish, right? This is a prayer that is called "Pistevo" (or Nicene creed as its other name is) meaning I believe. I had learnt it a few yrs ago but I've forgotten it by now! Lol! Congratulations on your effort! Here's what you've asked for:

"Pistevo"

PistEvo is Ena theO,
patEra padokrAtora
pi-itIn (i) uranU ke yis, oratOn te pAdon ke aorAton.
Ke is Enan kYrion I-isUn HristOn, ton ion tu theU ton monoyenI (i),
ton ek tu patrOs yenithEda pro pAdon ton eOnon.
Fos ek fotOs, theOn alithinOn ek theU alithinU, yenithEda u pi-ithEda, omo- Usion to patrI (i) thiU (th: like in though) ta pAda eyEneto.

Ton thi- imAs (like in though again) tus anthrOpus ke thiA (though again) tin ymetEran sotirIan, katelthoda ek ton uranOn ke sarkothEda ek pnEvmatos ayYu ke Marias tis parthEnu ke enanthropIsada (i)

StavrothEda te ypEr imOn epi PodIu PilAtu ke pathOda ke tafEda. Ke anastAda tin trIti (i) mEra katA tas grafAs (like in graphic).

Ke anelthOda is tus uranUs ke kathezOmenon ek thexion (though) tu patrOs. Ke pAli erhOmenon me ta thOxis (th:the)
krIne (i) zOdas ke nekrUs, u tis vasilias Uk Este tElos.

Ke is to pnEvma to Ayion, to kYrion, to zo-opi-On, to ek tu patrOs ekporevOmenon, to syn patrY ke iOn sybroskinUmenon ke synthoxazOmenon (the), to lalisan thiA (the) ton ProfitOn.

Is mian ayian, katholikYn ke apostolikYn eklisYan.
OmoloyO en vAptisma is Afesis amartiOn.
ProsthokO (th: like in the) anAstasin nekrOn.
Ke zo- In tu mElodos eOnos. AmYn.

Ps: The capital letters in each sentence show how the word is stressed. The (i) means that the capital letter is a capital i and not a lowercase L. As for the words the and though which I've put, they're to help you with the pronunciation as th can have 2 different sounds. Good luck! ;)

Can you teach me the phonetic pronounciation of some Arabic words and phrases?

"Please wait while I transfer you" :
Men fadlak entather kay ohawel al etisal la shak's yatahadatho al Arabiyah

"Have a nice day"
Atamana lak qadaa/kada yawm gameel

"Thank you"
Shokran

For greeting you can say,

Hello: Asalamo Alaikom Wa Rahmato Alla Wa Barakato (The best form of Hello in Arabic, much better than "Marhaba") It means peace and mercy of God be upon you
**You can also just say: Salam (=peace) in hi or goodbye

How are you? :
Kaif Halok?

I am fine:
Al Hamdolelah

Bye:
Al Salamo Alaikom (better than Salam)
It means: Peace be upon you

Do you have any questions?
Hal ladayka ay aseela?

Yes: Aiwa or Na'am
No: La

Do you want anything?
Hal toredo shay'?

I want: Oredo.... (then say what you want)

What? Maza

Sorry? Ana asefa (if you are female)
Sorry? Ana asef (if you are male)

Good luck! = Hazan sa-eedan!
