Hi I Have One Backlog In Bca 5th Sem Is Der Any Way To Clear It In 6th Sem Guide Me

I have 14 backlogs in engineering. Should I give up my life?

Well. I had 37 backlogs in my B.Tech (Most of them I grabbed due to my low internal marks). A very few of my college mates (like me ) believed that I could pass. I had a good academic records till my Engineering. But from the 1st day it self during the course, I lacked the path. I don't want to blame my teachers alone for my internals because I had my own part in lowering it :). Many of my friends said me to give up and join any other diploma/course. Some of the papers I wrote more than 3 times and just fail. It was a turning point when my S7 results came. Most of the back benchers passed because it is going to be the end of the Course, but I got most number of backlogs in S7. Even in our farewell meeting teachers were busy asking our class toppers what's next, do this course like that. I sadly thought , “I don't know if I complete my course or not”Till that time I didn't reveal parents about my backlog history. My hall ticket has caught red handed by my Parents. They didn't scolded me, instead motivated by stories inside BIBLE as well as of other great personalities in the world. I really started my course then and with GODs grace and confidence I passed all papers as 37–21, 21–18, 18–2 and 2–0. I passed…….. magical moment for our family and I believed it is one among the best in my life.I was in a computer course by HCL at that time which changed me a lot in terms of personality and technical domain. I tried for many jobs and then I went for servicing PCs at home.At that time one of my friend said that there is some opening in Sutherland Cochin, Kerala, a bpo mnc. I went for an interview there and surprisingly I cleared all the rounds and got job as Technical Consultant.I stayed there for less that one year. After that I have done some certifications, got a job in another company, Admin-ahead. Then I moved to EY (it is hard for me to believe that I got job in Ernst and Young) and then after 4.5 years of experience, moved to IBM as a Technical specialist, stayed there for 2 years and now working with Eurofins, a product based company with decent package and good profileI worked in four MNC, learned many technologies and taken certifications, Earned many best performer awards and created multiple innovative tool sets which is now being used in EY and IBM around the globe. So go forward trusting in GOD (I believe there is only ONE which has no religion), confidence and try, try and try. You will definitely succeed. No one is stopping you from doing things

How do I clear all my 25 arrears in one attempt? I’m from CEG, Anna University.

Lot of guys have done it in past.. I was 2008 pass out , i know more than couple of guys did 20+ in one semester. Some Exams they had help from others while some its down to luck.Hard for you to clear 25 arrears at one go , make sure you check Exam schedule , there will be times where you have to write two exam at same time , inform COE to make sure you can write all the exams. There will be exams which you know you will not clear once you see the paper , don’t waste time come out as soon as you can prepare for next exam.Target the paper which are you more likely to clear , nail it first, then go on to next.It will take a toil on your body , 2 exams per day * 6 days .. you will spend more time in exam hall. Plan wisely. Some exams you might write along with juniors regular exam. day before go and take help from some juniors and learn from them instead of reading on our own.Don’t Cheat or don’t get caught , that’s last thing you want .. All Hard work you have done would be wipe down with that.

I'm in 4th year having an year back and 19 backlogs. I am an avg student. What should I do with my career?

hello buddy!!I can feel you bro. I've been in your place two years back. I was a decent student till 10th standard. scored 85% in my board exams. but once i've entered engineering, things started going against. I've failed in 2 subjects in my first semester, which came as a shock to me. I never failed before that. Then 3 subjects in second and in 5th semester I've failed in all the subjects. By the time I was in my final semester I had 27 backlogs and zero hope. I thought of just giving up on engineering and do some other course. I didn't have proper any goals or I did have but hadn't concentrated on them. But when was about to give up I've seen my friends clear 30-35 subjects in single attempt. They were dumber than me but they somehow managed to mug it up before the exam day. So I thought why can't I when everybody else can. Not like they had 80% brain and I had 20%. we all have same amount of capacity but we don't put an effort to change things. Instead we resort to easiest solution. GIVING UP. Don't be the guy who gives up. Just like we have always told NOTHING IS IMPOSSIBLE. You just need little bit of perseverance, dedication and hardwork. Don't let anybody tell you that you can't do. you don't have to be good with math and science. I've wrote my mathematics paper 9 times. I cleared it in my 10th attempt. Just finish you degree since you have come very close. Don't give up.  Don't be the guy below. Just keep working hard. 19 is just a number. FYI: I've cleared all my 27 papers which took me extra 3 months. :D Good luck.

How can I get a job with active backlogs (standing arrears)?

Yes, you can get job, having backlogs.plan: below will help to get job faster:better skills than others (say, nearly expert knowledge in node.js, angular.js, android, etc.)better programming skills (say, you have a 1000 rank in algorithms on a competitive programming website, as a fresher)you did a lot projects, following latest dev tools like node.js, git scm, mocha & chai unit testing, etc.obviously, most companies wont care about backlogs if you are fitting into one of the aboveproof: I have seen one person get hired in 1st company even after having backlogs, left job in 3 months, after 2 months gap tried another company, got hire there as well.suggestion: don’t have job location & salary preference, to start with - apply to all jobs relevant to above 3

How hard did you find it to complete BCA from IGNOU?

It was tough... very tough.. Starting with BCA from IGNOU, i failed in 1 subject in Semester 1, then on on 2nd sem i failed in 2 subject and finally in 3rd sem i have failed in 3 subject. By that time i thought that i can't make it even BCA.But later i realise the books are dsigned for self study and with determination i completed my BCA and then MCA.You can understand the intensity of pressure by this, we enrolled 182 students in BCA at that time. The study center didn't have the space to allocate the study slots for us... But eventully only 16 of us, were able to complete MCA.My key to succeed in IGNOU was to actully devote large quantity of “self study time” in the books... and then it was be all easy..Trust me ... i am a live example...

What are the disadvantages of having a backlog in the first semester?

You will find that weird, but let me tell you my story.I never have had a backlog, my attitude was I will suicide if I get a backlog.Let me show you results of that.1) I was is top 5-10 students in the class.2) Was worrying about marks of external.3) Although never licked the boots of faculty but still did little buttering.4) I have gone bald thinking and worrying why I am not able to crack interviews of top companies.5) Not satisfied yet.The people who got backlogs are still enjoying, working in a modest company way happier than me, there are people otherwise too who have reached the heights.Where it all went wrong? All I wanted was a Backlog.Backlog to understand, its not the marks that shape your career, its your character to put everything you have into what you are doing. So in short I got the marks , passed all the subjects but failed to develop a character[Which I now think is the real motive of education.]I short my education is wasted by my marks. If I got the back log then I would have figured out this character part.In short develop your character, marks will come.Hope you get the meaning.

If a student fails in 5 subjects in 1st year 1st SEM exam, does he/she have a chance to pass?

Yes definitely there is much greater chance to clear the year.I had one of my friend studying with me she failed in 5 subjects and 2 practical in her 3rd year first semester. She was too scared to say this to her family with a fear of taking her back home. She somehow managed to skip her classes after lunch and started studying on her own.Her determination and hard work helped her clearing her 3rd year with First class. No doubt the teachers and all her friends were shocked. But I still remember the way she used to prepare notes before examinations and used to just revise one day before the exams."It's never too late to begin and if you thing of a chance then you need to achieve it"

How can I avoid getting a suppli in WBUT when I don't know anything about the subject?

If you want to avoid suppli, then you will have to study, no other option(provided you want to pass fairly).Marks of a subject in WBUT.30 marks= internal.70 marks= theory.40 marks= pass marks. Now worst case scenario with marks, let’s say in internal you are getting 15/30 so now you will have to score 25 in theory paper to passtheory paper marks distribution is generally as follows10 marks : ( Organizer does help here, go through the objectives of the whole subject in it and you might end up scoring 7-8 easily ).So, now the score is 15 + 7 = 22, remaining 18 marks to be obtained from section b and c)15 marks : (If say you have 3–4 days in hand then you can atleast finish one section of your subject if not from textbook then atleast from Organizer/Matrix, and if one section is done then out of 15 atleast you can score 4 marks)45 marks : If one section of your subject is complete, then you can easily attempt a 15 marks question and end up scoring a minimum of 11–12 marks , further you can also attempt a short notes question of 5 marks and end up scoring a minimum of 3/5 marksnow your score is 22 + 4 + 11 + 3 = 40, hence saved from suppli. This is just an example, you do your own calculation and evaluation if you seriously don’t want a suppli. The Bottomline is Don’t get Tensed, just calculate you time in hand and follow an effective plan and Study.Best of Luck.
