Hi I Own Wii U And I Want To Ask Something For The Gamepad . I Charge It Everytime I Finish A Game

Why did they stop making gamecube games?

Handheld consoles consistently make fewer sales and far less profit than their bigger console siblings. Nintendo, like any other company, have a limited amount of internal resources and, more importantly, a limited number of external developers at their disposal. At the start of this generation of the console wars Nintendo were very much on the back foot. The announcement of the console name caused enough laughs as is, and the introduction of a controller that looked like a TV remote had everyone wondering if they'd finally all gone bat-sh*t crazy.

Given this state of affairs, Nintendo had to invest all their effort into making the Wii work, and they pulled it off spectacularly well. What that also meant was that they really didn't put as many resources into moving their GBA customers (and it's developers) onto the DS as perhaps they otherwise would have. Developers who were already developing for the Cube were given every incentive to move to the Wii instead, while GBA developers were left largely to their own devices, at least until such time as it became obvious that the Wii was a commercial success and Nintendo could afford to return their attention to other less profitable aspects of their business

Should I buy a gaming laptop or gaming console?

This is really more about personal preferences than anything else. They're both worthy things to own.Gaming Laptop:Pros:Portable. You can take this with you far more easily than a console.More game options. Steam... do I need to say much more than that? Seriously though, lots and lots available for the PC.PC Style gaming... KB + mouse, way better options for RTS / MMO style gamingCan be used for more things besides just gamingCons:Higher cost of hardware. (This may be mitigated by a lower total cost of ownership as a gaming device, as PC games can be cheaper, but it depends on your game buying habits.)Console:Pros:Lower cost of hardware. A good gaming laptop is over 2x the cost of a console.Easier to have multiple people use the system.Console style gaming, all of the things you would want a game pad for, you have. Access to console exclusive titles as well.Cons:Need to have a TV/monitor to go with it if you don't already have oneCan't do as much with it as a laptop outside of playing gamesLess customization / modding options for both games and the hardware itselfWhich you should buy is up to you, depending on the experience that you value most. You can do more with a gaming laptop than you can with a console, and you pay more for that. The only thing I'll say is for the love of code, stay away from Alienware products. If you need a gaming laptop, Digital Storm, Maingear, Origin, and Razer all produce superior products for a considerably more reasonable price (they're expensive, they just give you more value for the $.) If you have to buy a mass market gaming laptop, ASUS ROG laptops, MSI gaming laptops or something custom from Cyberpower. Alienware is going to have to do something pretty impressive to convince me that their pricing and business practices are ethical enough for me to recommend them to anyone. (I don't have a problem with their hardware, I do have a problem with the markup they charge on premium components that is significantly higher than anyone else in the industry.)

Which is the best gaming console?

It's like asking which is the best soda?TITLES:It really depends on the titles that you care about. If you are a Halo fan, and also love the graphics of Forza Racing, you might like Xbox. But if you care about Uncharted, Infamous, etc and more titles in general, then you might prefer PS4. I don't prefer Wii, so I will refrain from commenting on it. POWER:In terms of power, PS4 is more powerful with 8GB of GDDR5 RAM, compared to Xbox One's 8GB of DDR3. PS4 has 1152 shaders, compared to Xbox' 768. This is one of the reasons why cross-platform games run at a lower resolution on the Xbox compared to PS4. Although native Xbox games run a 1080p.CONTROLLER:For Xbox One controllers, you have to put AA batteries in them, whereas PS4 controllers can just be charged for each session. You can buy separate charging kits for those controllers from Microsoft though.PRICE:Earlier, Xbox One used to be around $100 more expensive, because Kinect was mandatory. But the difference now is more or less insubstantial since Microsoft has released Kinect-free versions as well. All said, Xbox seems more attractive right now. But without trying both of them, you can't be sure.

Help with Wii Sports regarding the tutorial?

To just skip through the tutorials, just press the minus (-) button.

Or, to have your players automatically bypass the tutorials, you have to play one-player mode to bring your skill level high enough to bypass the tutorials. (in 2-player mode, your skill levels don't increase except in bowling and golf, because the other players' performance doesn't directly contribute to your success or failure in the game.)

Is the PC a good platform for playing video games?

I grew up on consoles, and for a while, I was certain that consoles were absolutely, 100% better than PCs for gaming.  I simply didn't understand why anybody would choose a keyboard and mouse over a controller, and why someone would use a computer for anything other than surfing the internet, etc.  I spent a good 5 years playing primarily on an Xbox 360, loving the hell out of Halo, Dark Souls, and games like them.  Finally, however, I caved in, and bought a gaming PC.  I can see why PCs are so widely used, and how people can prefer PC over console gaming.  PCs have more versatility, more potential power, fewer limits, and higher quality hardware.  PC gaming allows you to choose the kind of experience you want to have, to change the game with mods, if you'd like, to change the controller you use, etc.  You can have more power in the game, to make it more beautiful, to run at higher fidelities, and not be limited to the structure and hardware that corporate execs decided is reasonable to sell en masse.  PC gaming is cheaper, in the long run, as games are less likely to be overpriced, you're more able to find small indie games, or even large free ones such as League of Legends or Team Fortress 2, and there are sales literally all the time.  Overall, I recommend PC as the platform of choice, over Playstation or Xbox.Note:  I can't effectively argue that PC gaming is superior to Nintendo gaming, unless you have a method to emulate the Wii U and similar games.  Nintendo tends to sell an experience, which is almost impossible to replicate without using their hardware.  Xbox and Playstation, on the other hand, are much more similar to both each other and to PC gaming, but their benefits are generally too few for me to recommend them over PC.  However, PC gaming vs Nintendo is a much harder distinction, and I believe that comes entirely to personal preference.

How is Nintendo still popular when it makes little effort to improve its product, or even introduce new and unique content?

False premise.Nintendo is the most innovative of the big three, even when ignoring the innovations on their handhelds.NESD-padAdditional hardware acceleration on cartridges to extend the life of the console at low cost when the hardware was made cheaply available.Lockout chip (this rescued the video game industry at a time when piracy was rife).Persistent state saved on cartridge.SNESShoulder padsHardware accelerated graphics (allowing for realtime 3d graphics)Affine transformations on background and sprites (allowing for the “mode 7” graphics seen in Mario Kart and F-Zero)The Sony Playstation controller is derived from the SNES form, and later incorporated the analogue controller and rumble effect found in the N64.N64Analogue controllerAnd the rest of it. It was daring.Rumble packProgrammable microcode (basically the first programmable graphics pipeline in a console)GameCubeThat controller! An actual-pressure sensitive control. Also imitated.WiiNeed I say more.It forced Sony and Microsoft to imitate.I will admit that it was overused in some games. But still was a massive innovation to home gaming.Wii-UNew control style through use of second screen. Not a groundbreaking innovation but a massive risk which didn’t pay off.SwitchMassive risk in consolidating handheld and console divisions. And it worked. Switch gaming events are unique in how many people are able to play at the same time. You’ll have people playing on the big screen as well as people whipping out their own Switch to play with others. In response Sony is looking at ways to imitate its success.Nintendo innovates. The rest imitate.Games wise they have played it safe with IP, but these are with IPs and formulas that changed the state of gaming when they were first introduced.Their innovations are expressed within these brands. Breath of the Wild and Mario Galaxy are perfect examples of innovation being introduced in old IP.
