Ladies, what is a great dinner to cook my girlfriend for her birthday?
I can get around fairly well in the kitchen if want too, I just usually prefer to order pizza or something easy. But it's my GF birthday on Sunday and I would like to make her something really special. She's not into seafood at all, and I don't want to be boring with some basic chicken dish, so I was thinking a couple of nice Filet Mignons, and a good bottle of Red, would be nice, but i don't know what else to serve it with. Anyone have any other ideas? Nothing too fancy or difficult, just something good. Also any dessert ideas? Thanks.

Can I cover brownies with fondant (instead of a cake) and decorate?
The cake is a combination birthday/father's day cake for my bf and he isn't a huge fan of regular cake but likes brownies. I make a fondant from marshmallows that he really likes and I have a theme in mind that I want to decorate it with. I am fairly new to cake decorating and was just wondering if a pan of brownies would work for covering just as you would a cake. The only thing I am concerned about it getting the surface smooth. Wondering if anyone has tried this or knows if it will or won't work. Thanks!
