High School Is Too Much For Me

Why is high-school so hard for me?

Junior yr was once via some distance the toughest however actually...you are doing the correct factor taking AP categories. I'm presently in institution and I am most often grateful that my Junior yr was once tough w/ AP categories for the reason that I have extra intensive heritage in my discipline and it fairly prepares you. The factor: well activity! Now recommendation: without doubt you are gonna need to manipulate a while. Actually research for exams to the factor wherein you believe constructive instructing the field to anyone else. Don't procrastinate (junior yr was once the primary time the truth of pulling an over-nighter slapped me within the face). Your mother could no longer like this however your taking institution categories so deal with it like institution: paintings tough play tough. Obviously it does not need to be detrimental or something, however be definite to have a laugh with peers and de-strain with physical games, yoga--anything works for you. Good good fortune! Just hold considering how a laugh senior yr shall be now! :)

Is this sound too much for a High School girl?

it can be, but that depends what other people wear I guess. Like, some youtube beauty gurus do smokey eyes and eye liner and mascara and bronzer and lip stick and lip gloss and setting powder, which I find to be too much. Personally, I use tinted moisturizer or foundation, black eyeliner, mascara, blush and nude lipstick. Lately, i've also been filling in my eyebrows. At my school, that's what most people wear, like my friend does purple toned brown eye shadows and just uses some dark eyeshadow on her lash line, along with foundation, blush and nude lipstick. Some people at my school go all the 9 yards and do false lashes, but personally, I think whatever you're comfortable with, go and do it. If you feel more comfortable with more make up, go ahead.

Is Wedges too much for High School?

Super high wedge shoes can look ridiculous, especially if you have to walk funny so you don't twist your ankle or fall while wearing them. Otherwise, get them if you like them but most girls will be wearing mocs or low converse or sperrys for most days at school. Good luck in high school!! : }

First, get all A’s. if you can’t do that, then it’s not too easy. Why? The majority of people who say that high school is too easy for them follow that sentences with “I get bored easily so I am only a B student,” or something equally lame like that. Secret… if you aren’t getting A’s, it’s not too easy. And while there are a ton of people who got significantly better grades in College than they did in high school, most would have been better getting A’s in high school and getting into say Stanford than they did by doing well at the relatively worse school that they got into.Assuming you are getting A’s, then I would recommend you build the type of portfolio of extracurricular activities that will help maximize your chance of getting into a great school. This could be by starting a business… or it could be by other activities. But getting into a better school is probably the best investment most people can make. Now, if you are simply bored with high school, I would suggest you try to increase your ability to focus and improve your self discipline. While there are some people who are truly brilliant and do poorly in high school and then proceed to do great things, they are rare. Underachieving can turn into a habit which can have lifelong negative ramifications.

Is it too much for a freshman in high school to go out on Friday and Saturday night?

Sounds like dad knows what's best and maybe has been around the block in his younger years or knows some who have. People go astray and he needs to keep an eye on his teen to make sure you are not one of those horrible statistics. You know...pregnant, druggy, drunk, diseased, slut. You know before you see it coming it can just happen out of the blue, just when you least expect it. Also, it could be, he completely trusts you but the rest of the world he doesn't. I know from experience people can cause you irreparable harm. So he has to protect you from others. like evil boys your age or older. He's probably worried some old perv from the fair will drag you off. Young ladies disapear all the time. He was probably worried sick the first time now you want to go and worry the poor man to death. How much more are you going to put your poor dad through. You will understand when you have children of your own if you make it that long by listening to your dad.

Are 4.5 inch wedges too much for high school?

So I just recently bought a pair of wedges, and I really wanna wear them at school. I'ma freshmen, and almost 15, about 5'3". I walked around in them at the mall yesterday and they were suprisingly comfortable. But would it be okay for school? (And since I'm on my tablet and haven't figured out how to copy and paste, you'll have to go to Google and type in "Macy Faux Suede Wedge" to look at the shoes. It'll be the first link.) And also, I'd wear them with jeans, not a skirt or dress if that helps haha.

High School stresses me out too much..?

High School is really tough, its probably one of the hardest times in your life but it soon comes to an end, you are almost through it so be brave and stick it out.
You need to take control and take some positive action.
First of all, are you on depression meds or are you just suffering in silence? If so go to your doctor and school councilor and tell them how unhappy you are , its their job to help you and they will either give you counseling support and/or medication to help you. Exercise is a very good way to combat depression so try to do some join a martial arts class, go jogging or do xbox kinnect to get active. Getting fitter may also help your complexion too.
If you have tried all the over the counter spot creams, go and see your doctor he can prescribe you much stronger pills and creams to help with acne. If you manage to get them under control you will feel better and more confident. Doing sport and eating a healthy diet will also help to.
With maths there is the maths equivalent of dyslexia which is called dyscalculia.
People with dyscalculia usually have normal intelligence and may do very well in other school subjects such as English and history, but they score much lower than average in maths and often have a hard time solving basic maths problems. They may mix up the numbers by reversing their order when reading them, or they have difficulty organizing math formulas. For example, they may not be able to understand the symbols used in math, such as the "plus" and "minus" signs in addition and subtraction if maths is definitely your worse subject go and talk to your teacher and ask them to access you for this condition. There's nothing wrong with having dyscalculia.I have dyslexia its no big deal as long as you accept it and just go with it. At school you will be given lots of extra support and help in exams too.
Not wanting to talk to people is a sign of depression and low confidence but to get better you have to talk to people. Try talking to adults as they can help you, they want to help you and won't be as mean as your peers.
Be brave and make the decision to start changing your life. Believe in yourselff XD

Find a variety of ways to challenge yourself, like —(a.) Learn a foreign language.Make it easier on yourself by logging on to u.about.com , and see if you’d like to learn Spanish, Italian, or French. Counted cross stitch, knitting, crocheting, painting, and scrapbooking are all done with both hands and will put your dexterity to the test. You can also try solving crossword puzzles, or Sudoku. Playing timeless games like chess, checkers, dominoes, or Solitaire regularly can prove to be satisfying as well, and, not to mention, inexpensive. You can also buy a Rubik’s cube.(d.) Instead of spending hours mindlessly watching TV or surfing the internet, pick up a book, or read magazines like Reader’s Digest, Good Housekeeping, Popular Mechanics, or National Geographic.

Why do some people hate high school so much?

I hate it because of the bullies when I was in junior high, (I guess middle school now days). I hate it because the joy I had in life in elementary school times is over by then and I had nothing in common with the kids all growing up so much faster than I was. I hate it LIFE was over by then as my realization things won't get better occured. When I was a kid and got bulllied, I'd always think it would be better when I got older, but by then there is no later to hope things get better during. I hated high school, what I longed for then adults lectured us was stupid to want, like to have a baby. We don't know what's involved in having to care for a baby, It's a terrible thing to do, getting a baby in high school. Get a baby and you can't go out and have fun anymore! (I'd laugh at that threat since I didn't go out and have fun anyway!) I felt ashamed I wished I could have one because it's stupid to want one, and the whole everything about it got me down. I hate high school because the classes are hard and frustrating. I hate high school because parents are still in control of us and while other people get to quit and go to work, I'm stuck staying there and wishing I had the wildness to just break out and become Bonnie and Clyde so I'm gone from my parents, school, fear of not getting a job if I don't go to more never ending years of misery in college and can just BE and then die. I hate high school because no matter how hard I tried to love to study and do school work, I hated it and it depressed me.
I hate high school and pity the young in it now because it sounds like they have even more burdens piled on them than we did. Not only longer hours of school, but more homework, plus the requirement to do volunteer work in community service. Any free time after that should be used in organized sports or work or the high school band. Any fad they try to get going like having their underwear stick out the adults even go as far as to outlaw! High schools around here every autumn get on the news with their more and stricter dress codes. I guess the young don't have enough organized FIGHT in them as the hippies did to put the adults in their places now days. So the adults push them more and more into controlled lives. I pity the young and I hate high school in my times and now times.

I have ongoing issues with a sleep disorder similar to this. At first i just slept a lot. Then it began to progress into extremely deep sleep. What i mean by this is that every single day my parents would have to wake me up from a comatose-like state. I had no voluntary control of my muscles in the morning at several points. I sure hope you are not experiencing the beginning of this. here are some things you can do now to address your sleep efficiency and feel more rested in the AM. 1- Put your screens away 2 hours before bedtime and read a book. The blue light from screens is interpereted by your brain as sunlight and can severely mess up your sleep clock.2- Consider having a sleep study to see if you have obstructive or central sleep apnea (I do). This is not something you can observe yourself. if you do have any sort of apnea, that can severely reduce your sleep efficiency. 3- Oxygen. Getting enough of this is crucial for restful sleep. It will benefit you wether you are sick and require it or not because it powers 90% of your life functions. If you find that you have any sort of apnea, oxygen supplementation can reduce these by up to 70% (it did for me). Oxygen can help you feel like you've got 13 hours of sleep in a 6 hour period. It will help you wake up more energized and vitalized. it might be difficult to persuade a conventional western medicine doctor to give oxygen. They do not recognize its benefits. Talk to a Wholistic or Ayurvedic doctor.best luck
