How do I respond when a guy texts hey?
In my experience, when a guy texts you “Hey” and nothing else it took the below road.“Hey” is a bait. He is checking to see if you will respond. His interest level in you is somewhere around a solid 5. If it was above 5, he would atleast bother to type “hey, how are you?” If it was nearing ten, he would definitely put your name into the question.When I have responded to “Hey” with “hey, how are you?” we would end up exchanging five or more texts and then the conversation just falls of the wagon. If I respond “Hey” back, there is pin drop silence from the other side. Despite what I have replied, the chats have never lasted long enough.Then there are the guys who are genuinely interested in you, their conversation begins like this. “Hey Nivea! I had a crazy couple of days and couldn’t get in touch with you! How have you been?”, or “Hey! How are you? Listen to this track, it’s pretty amazing(sends a link)! You will love it”Now such lines have been an indication that he is interested in talking to me and we would text for a longer while or call or make plans to meet soon.So my advice, if you get hit with a “hey”, hit them back with a “hey” and let them go bother someone else :) It’s a good weeding out process!!!
How can I ask a girl if she arrived safely to her home?
If it's a date that ends late just say that you would like to make sure she gets home safely and asking she could text you when she gets home. If you don't demand it and don't do it too often, then you can avoid being being an overbearing, controlling twerp. In fact probably make a comment on how you aren't like that so that she can put down the red flag.Don't do it if it's still light outside. I personally (And a lot of my girl friends) find it patronising and controlling, if you ask out of kindness and love, then it is usually well received.The other option is to just send a text like:“Hope the journey home wasn't bad. Had a great time.”Or“Just wondering if you got home alright. Hope to see you soon!”Casual and genuine interest in the person's safety is needed. Nobody likes to be micromanaged.

It’s definitely correct in a grammatical sense. But context is really important. As someone else has already commented, it’s good to mix it up to make it sound more friendly (for example) or genuine.The sentence you’ve used is quite formal, as if you were asking an older, long-distance relative! If I was asking a friend, I’d probably use more contractions and say something more along the lines of “hope everything’s alright?” or “hope everything’s ok?” or “hope all’s well?”Thinking about where you’re writing this is also important to context. For example - emails between colleagues is less formal than say an email to a potential employer or your line manager. Whereas a quick note or text to a friend might (for instance) simply say “all ok?”Hope this helps!

Sick of people making fun of me for how I dress?
Hiii :) well.. I dress pretty differently, not really different, but I definatly have different styles ect, colourful, formal mixed with casual, all sorts, and I wear alot of colourful wrist beads. alot of my girlfriends love how I dress, but the majority of males all just shout, or make fun of me, there so small minded :/ Its really annoying cause my confidence has always been small, but then my girlfriends all make it higher with there compliments, and then its knocked right back down again by certain guys, today, I was walking to college and some guys drove past and beeped at me, so I came back home, and here I am, I don't want to go out and get judged, Im sat alone at home because Im scared of people making me feel like Im some sort of lower form of life, how sad is that? eugh. :/ Im not gay by the way Im straight, I just dress in my own unique way and have lots of female friends because I find them more open minded and lovely to be with, Im just sick of been judged ect. I feel like Im been made to just be normal by the society around me... and its not fair, I shouldnt be bullied into dressing normally. any advice? :(
