How do I uprage gaming pc??

Hey all I recently bought a pre built gaming pc ( sky tech St-arch-II-002 ). I was wondering how do I know if certain parts are compatible to upgrade the pc. Do you have any opinions on what I should replace or add to make it a more efficient pc. I want to upgrade the graphics cards but like I said I don’t know how to tell what is compatible with the other parts. I also want to add more ram. Would it be best for me to save up to start a separate build( that is not prebuilt at all). The reason I ask about the separate build is because I was told it was useless to upgrade a prebuilt pc.

Is this a good Gaming PC Build?

Hey everybody, I've asked this question 1-2 times already because every I find different parts, so here is my pretty much final setup, and I just wanted to run it by some people for opinion.
List:
EVGA GeForce GTX 970 FTW ACX 2.0 4GB GDDR5 04G-P4-2978-KR

Intel Core i7-4790K Processor (8M Cache, up to 4.40 GHz) (BX80646I74790K)

Since it's my second PC build I needed to pick up a few extras to be up-to-date:
(Note: I am not a graphics freak, I just LOVE having a SUPER smooth game.)

Acer G246HL Abd 24-Inch Screen LED-Lit Monitor

Logitech G502 Proteus Core (910-004074)

AULA LED Backlit Gaming Keyboard

Lite-On Super AllWrite 24X SATA DVD+/-RW Dual Layer Drive - Bulk - IHAS124-04

Thanks again!

I5-760 vs i7-950 gaming pc?

haha i was going to say, the 6870 is in no way better then a 5870....but ya. i would still go for the i7. you get nice triple channel ram plus its easier to add another video card then to change out a cpu (specially going from socket 1156 to 1366) or wait until the 6900 series drops, and that will better then he 5870!

Is there any site to get a free gaming PC or laptop?

How do I convince my dad to let me get a gaming PC?

I had the same problem with myself when I was younger.I true tried to convince my dad to upgrade our aging pc to something that would be relevant to our high performance computing needs(gaming).Whenever he was asked this question he would quietly go and switch on the machine and proceed to open the browser for checking his mails, etc and would then announce that the computer is sufficient for education. The one day I had a brain wave. It is beginning of our new session of classes and syllabus for the various subjects were due. When the syllabus for the computer syllabus came out I conveniently searched the internet for relevant software which needs high performance hardware and then replaced those shitty HTML topics with the new video editing tools introduction. As expected the our local technician was called and he was asked to install the relevant video editing software which I would be requiring for “educational” purpose. He tried doing so but to my dads dismay the software was unable to load. He then said that a upgrade was inevitable and I got my first gaming pc albeit a low range one. This is something that you can try.All the best.

How can I get enough money for a gaming PC? I currently am 15 years old and do not have a job (I use USD).

A great starting point is asking your neighbours if they will pay you to mow their lawn. Try to convince you will mow the lawn once a week or fortnightly. (if they want it done regularly make sure you don’t overbook and you will get to their lawn as promised)You can always set your prices, if they have a larger residence I’d be charging more as it takes more time and fuel. Remember that time can always be used doing someone else's lawn.Don’t get discouraged if they say no, you can ask the next house. I’d be aiming for mowing on set days that are easiest for you (days you don't have homework, sporting commitments etc)I’d be charging $20 for half an hours work, I believe in that time you can achieve mowing the nature strip, front and back yard. If they just wanted the nature stip mowed $10 (obviously charge less). If you started working at 9am and finished at 2pm. Lets say it takes you half an hour for each job. You should make $200 after 5 hours of work.Even after you get your computer, keep working this job to allow for your next computer or things you’ll want to buy.

I'm getting a gaming PC, should I invest in this PC?

I don't have a great deal of money. I've found a gaming PC for £670 that seems to have pretty decent specs. I don't want ultra 4K or 120 frames a second, 60 frames would be nice. But would somebody be able to tell me if these specs would be able to run any game at 60 frames per second/if these specs are good enough for a decent PC gaming experience.

Here are the specs:
Processor - i7 2600
RAM - 32GB
Graphics: 6GB GTX 1060
Drive Capacity: 2TB

For an extra £40 I can get a 240GB SSD + 1TB HDD. Or for £50 on top of that I can get a 480GB SSD + 1TB HDD. Of course I can put more money on top of that to bump up the 1TB HDD to 2TB, but I could just get an external hard drive. What would be the benefits of getting an SSD along with a HDD, is it worth the extra cash? Also, of course, would these specs provide me with a great gaming experience? I know a little bit about specs but not a great deal, hence why I am asking these questions.

Of course, if anybody knows of an even better PC for around the £700 mark, please let me know!
