How Can I Block Site Fanfiction In Google Search

How do you delete a FanFiction on fanfiction.net?

Hey! So this is pretty easy, it just takes a moderate amount of navigating through the settings page. So, step one, when you go to the site, you’ll want to click on your name at the top right corner. Next to where the log out button is. That’ll take you to your account menu that looks like this. (Let’s just ignore my difficultly with the pen)Now, see that navigation menu on the left? Click the dropdown for ‘Publish’, and then ‘Manage Stories’.That’ll take you to see all of your stories. Bask in their glory and glare at the one who has dared defied you! The one you’re going to want to delete, press on it’s title (next to the orange ‘reviews’ button). Now, you’re at the properties and stats page. At the very top, you’ll see a bar that says, “Editing Story: (Name of your fic)”. That includes properties, chapters, and, the last button on your right, an option to delete your story.Press ‘Delete Story’ and the site will pop up this little confirmation thing. Click yes, and then you’ll be met with this:And then you’re done!

How do you overcome writer’s block in a fanfiction?

At this point, I have yet to come up with an answer to this, thus I have a number of stories that are waiting to be finished. Mostly, you do it the way any writer does, take a look at the story thus far and figure out what has gone wrong. if you can find that … I used to throw new characters in when I got stuck, not a good idea, LOL … then you can revise the story to get past the blockade. Sometimes the story just isn’t as good as it looked when you started. Scrapping a story that has broken is not a bad idea. Professional authors scrap huge chunks of stories now and again because they get stuck.Probably the best idea is to read what you’ve already written and look for places that could be changed to get you out of the situation that isn’t resolving. Sometimes you’ll discover that your muse is trying to tell you something and you need to pay attention. if you can’t figure out why you’re stuck, take a look at some of the professional writing advice available for free on the internet. There are dozens of authors who have great ideas for plots, for character development, for setting description and for world building. Somewhere in there, you will probably find what you’re looking for. Best of luck on getting unstuck.(Oh, and sometimes the issue is outside stresses: school, work, family obligations, that sort of thing. if that’s the case, take a break, deal with the issues that are not writing and then take a look at the story again. A lot of times just not stressing about the story along with everything else will loosen things up so you will get back to the characters and situation and find that the words are flowing again.)

How do you delete a review on fanfiction?

Anonymous? - Login, click Reviews (at the end of that table thing), and then click remove reviews.

Signed? - I suppose you'd have to report it and have someone take it off for you (there's a button which allows you to do this by every signed review) or you could report it at reportabuse@fanfiction.com if it's spam or something abusive.

As a writer or reader, what is your opinion on fanfiction?

Thanks for the A2A.If the writer has the permission of the copyright holder, then fine. But to be honest, I don’t much like the idea of fan fiction, because I’ve yet to read a single work of fan fiction that wasn’t markedly, poorly written, and/or full of alterations that rejects established canon. My stance on it is, if you’re going to write it, make it the best writing you can make, and at least stick to what’s already been established. As a writer, I’d personally be flattered if someone wrote fan fiction of my work, although I won’t be reading any of it, if anyone does, for legal reasons. As of now (March 30, 2019), I have not given an official answer to whether or not I would allow fan fictions of my work.

Do you consider fanfiction writers to be writers? If so, why?

Of course fan fiction writers are writers. They tell a story, they create dialogue and action, relationships, settings… Whether they are going to go on to write mainstream literature or create their own worlds and characters is not what defines them as writers, though it might define them as successful commercial writers.Fan fiction has become a genre over the course of my lifetime. It wasn’t called that yet, when at age 13 I wrote 100 pages of a Man Ftom UNCLE story. It wasn’t called that yet when I was writing STAR TREK stories. They were not great writing, by any means, and they were totally about writing myself as a character into the playgrounds of established characters. The best was probably a screenplay for MacGuyver and I would maybe have offered it had the show not been cancelled about the time I finished it.Writing fan fiction is a great way to start writing, to practice all the skills of creating a setting and characters from scratch, to make dialogue that sounds as real as the characters on the show the fan is engaged with. It is a skill to take in a scene and describe it in words so that the reader can be there.I had a friend in high school who wrote fan fiction, too, and she has, in fact, gone on to become a commercially successful fantasy writer.

Something wrong with the Fanfiction website?

When I go into any of the archives no stories show up, it just says "No entries found with current filters. Note: M rated entries are not displayed by default. Please expand your filter". My filter is always set to k-t but I checked the filter anyway and it is, but I also noticed that character filters are missing.

Is anyone else having this problem? Why aren't any stories showing up? I know there wasn't a sudden mass deletion because I see my stories still up on my profile.
