How Can I Get In Fighting Shape So Strong

How To Beat Someone In a fight stronger than you?

There's this guy, im taller but not stronger than him. Im just like 2 inches taller and heavier than him. I ain't fat, everyone says im skinny i believe im average. He's stronger and maybe quicker and a little in shape. Im not, but when im in a fight i get so heated up and i do sock hard when im heated up :). I get tired easily though. and how do i beat him. it's a fist street fight. all we can use is our fists. how can i win?

(please dont say avoid the fight, this guy has been pissing me off, causing so much stress for 6 years! i want it to end! he's been bullying me and we have so much beef!)

Is it harder to fight a fat person? If so, why?

There are so many variables when fighting someone that the idea of whether someone is "fat" or not is only 1 thing out of 100 to consider.  If you had two people that knew the same style of fighting, both were in training shape, and one weighed 100 pounds more, then it is likely that heavier person would win.  But people aren't equal like that.  And most likely if you are fighting someone, unless it's a match, this is a street fight, and then you have no clue what the other person knows.  If they know self defense, or martial arts, you're screwed unless you know more than them, I do not care how good of a street fighter you are.  If I was walking home holding a hard covered book and you started a fight with me, I could break your nose in seconds and the pain would be so blinding I could probably just walk away.  People who learn self defense learn ways of disabling people in seconds.  Your windpipe is a vulnerable spot, as is your nose.  I almost broke someone's back in a fight once, and they were thin, and in good shape, and started it.  I'm pretty sure they thought they had a better chance against me, since I was not in great shape, and heavier than they were, but I am quicker than I look, and I know a trick or two, which was all I needed.  In my eyes, I am not looking to fight, I am looking to end it as quick as possible before I get hurt.  Which means I want you unconscious or disabled as quick as possible.  Anyone who wants to fight with me is threatening my life, I do not see this as a game or a fun thing to do with my time.  The big problem I have with the question and fighting in general is the fact that you never know.  A small guy could be super quick and dangerous, the big guy could be slow or maybe never has to fight because he's big.  You don't know.  It is why I don't pick fights, but if I end up in one I do try to end it as quick as possible.

Who is stronger, a MMA fighter or a bodybuilder?

Define “strength.”A body builder very likely can lift more weight than an MMA fighter, all other things being equal. But that’s the only area where a body builder might have an advantage. However, a broader definition would favor the MMA fighter. Here’s an example: In high school, my son was on the wrestling team. That’s an intense sport, with brutal endurance training. And it takes strength. There were some kids who were on the football team (a fall sport) and then would go out for the wrestling team (a winter sport). Remember that by the time wrestling was beginning, football was ending, so those football players were in nearly top shape . . . for football players. They’d come into the wrestling room and gas out. It’d take them weeks to even approach the same conditioning as the wrestlers. That’s not to belittle the football players. Physically, for football, they were in great condition. But they had very little endurance.I’d closely equate a wrestler with an MMA fighter as far as conditioning goes. And, though I have less experience at making the comparison, I’d think that a football player probably is in better overall shape than a body builder. And even with a definition that ignores cardio—but looks at the power of punches and kicks, an MMA fighter would have the edge over a body builder.

Who would win in a street fight between Mariusz Pudzianowski and tyson?

Depends on who got a hold of who first I'd say. If Mariusz got a hold of Tyson he wouldn't be able to move at all and wouldn't be able to throw any punches. But if Tyson tagged Mariusz first then it could go the other way.

My opinion

Can female fighters beat the average man who doesn't train?

Well you are a moron because the ability to fight has nothing to do with gender and your embarrassment is just a reflection of the egocentric society that many males believe . I have defeated many men who are extremely talented fighters, many of whom are much larger than myself. I have also defended myself against men if self defense situation and also against multiple opponents which included a much larger male.

SHAQ vs BROCK and BROCK vs FEDOR WHO WINS?

Fedor will beat any heavyweight in MMA period... Brock would beat Shaq. Training mma in the off season and being in fighting shape and actually FIGHTING are very, very different... anyone who thinks Brock can beat Fedor is crazy... or knows nothing.

Why is welterweight boxing so popular? Shouldn't the heavyweight title be the 'flagship' event?

The heavyweight division was for a long time boxing’s flagship division, but then big people (especially big Americans) discovered they could make more money for less risk playing basketball or gridiron football, lessening the talent pool. The heavyweight division became big elsewhere, but without a strong American scene, interest Stateside dropped. As for why welterweights are now at the forefront of the sport, I think it is because that is pretty much where an average person would be if they trained and got into fighting shape (remember that fighters gain between the weigh-in the night before and the moment they step into the ring). Not only is the talent pool perhaps the highest, but fighters in that division carry an optimum blend of power and athleticism which lends itself well to good fights (if indeed the fights get made, which has been a problem over the past few years-even so, Thurman-Porter was one of the fights of 2016). Heavyweights carry great power, but these days often lack technique and athleticism, whereas welterweights don’t have this problem.I generalise a bit here, I think super-flyweight, super-featherweight and light-heavyweight are currently better than the welterweight division, especially since Mayweather and Pacquiao are on their way out of the sport, but welterweight will always be among the most talent-laden divisions

Why do UFC fighters look more musclular than they weigh?

body type(ectomorph "more lean muscle mass", or endomorph " bulky muscle mass") has a lot to do with it as well as what supplements they take(not steroids). these are elite athletes in a sport where there is very little forgiveness for "not being on" when you are in the ring. they are genetically gifted like elite body builders but they do way more cardio so they don't get musclebound . where body builders work on the shape of their muscles(symmetry) when they achieve the mass they are looking for, fighters perfect their strength, technique and speed working with what they have.

to sum it up, some guys just look more buff in a sport where strength, speed and technique separates the best of the best while others don't.

What martial art would be best for me, as a big guy?

Let me specify - I am 330 lbs, and 6'4" or so, and not in very good shape (you might have guessed lol). Me and a couple buddies (who are in pretty good shape) have discussed taking a martial arts class together. I really want to take a judo or jujitsu class, but my concern is not for my physical shape (I can take it), but for the poor sap who gets paired up with me. Would someone with no experience (I have none) being paired up with me in such a class be an abysmal experience for him? Should I look at more of a striking art, as opposed to a grappling art, or will me being a big guy not really ruin someone else's day?
EDIT-
I appreciate the answers so far. I'd really like to take a grappling class, but I worry that I will be a tough opponent for a smaller, inexperienced person. Will a person, who gets paired up with me, absolutely hate me for making their life difficult, with them having to throw me around?
