It takes me forever to straighten my hair!?
I have these clips that you use to section your hair off, and i section my hair in half, clip half up, and the split the other half into 3, and clip 2 pieces up and just do a little bit at a time. This way it only takes me 20 minutes, and believe me, my hair is REALLY curly.

I actually have curly hair, and its not the nice curly hair that just lays down nice, and is not frizzy, its the spirals curly that get knotted and tangled and its a huge hassle! I KNOW HOW YOU FEEL! I would recommend just getting a "perm" or relaxer done at the salon, or you can go to Walmart and buy on for about ten bucks in the ethnic section. I did it and my hair was straight for about a year, and you can do it again after that but i chose not to. Also many may say that it damages your hair or makes its fall out, but my hair stayed the same with the relaxer in.

I had the same problem sometime back.Natural curls are wonderful and chemically straightened hair looks dry and dead. Here are a few easy suggestions:Wash your hair and towel dry. Don't use any hair dryer. Buy this rubber band ( easily available any place).see attached pic. All you do is twist your wet hair into a tight bun and tie it with the band. Open after a few hours! If you straighten curly hair will it go back to being curly again after you wash it?
Help! I have curly hair and I always have the same hairstyle. I love it but, I would like to see what it would look like if it was straight. So I want to straighten it only one time but I'm scared that it won't go back to being curly... Will it? Or won't it....
How long does permanently straightening your hair last?
well the hair that is permanently straightened is straightened forever. the new growth will not be. that will be your what your hair is naturally. i would think about whether or not you want to keep going back to get it touched up or not.
