How to get un-addicted from cable TV?
I really need to economize and am thinking about downscaling my cable TV package. I'm tired of paying big bucks for endless reruns, horrid reality shows, and other garbage. Any tips on how to get un-addicted? Obviously, I could get more reading done, by not watching the 'idiot box' so much. Has anyone else cut down on channels - and survived??

I'm not too sure about iPhone's, but on my S3, whenever something happens on the facebook app, I get a notification. I guess just allow notifications on your device, and that way, whenever something happens, it will make a noise and you can check it out. So you don't have to be at your phone, you can just bring it up when you actually need to :)
