How Can I Grow Air Potato In Northern Indiana

Why do North Indians avoid living/working in Chennai? If they do live/work in Chennai, what are the problems they face?

Because they have been HEARING all time Chennai is not a good place for North Indians.I am a North Indian and I have lived 3 years(11th+12th+1 year eng. Entrance prep) in Delhi, 4 years in Kolkata (b.tech), 1 year in Bangalore(job search and training) and currently in Chennai for past 4 months(project).and I can give reasons not to hate Chennai.Weather: no doubt! Bad.. but people from North specially Delhi, Rajasthan have suffered already very bad weather and you are not going to spend the day outside, you will be working in office(A/C) only and in most of the pg (A/C) is there.Traveling: Traveling is far better than other cities. Very less traffic than Bangalore, Kolkata and Delhi. And also affordable than Bangalore.Food: if you staying in flat , you can hire North Indian cook and even if you are going to stay in pg there are some good pg also who provide North Indian food. By the way South Indian food are also not bad. Actually its healthy because they have generally boiled things. Yea but North Indians can not eat daily so there are restaurants which provide North Indian food.Weekends : so you have only two days to even think about the city that it's bad or good. So in Chennai you can go for movies. It's damm cheap. 120 rs only . And you can go to beaches and near by destinations like Pondicherry, mahabalipuram, Bangalore..etcSo, I think it's just a misconception about Chennai. If it has problems(weather, language) which can be managed obviously it has a lot of good things also.

Why are native Americans called Indians or red Indians?

Because of a certain man named Christopher Columbus. The poor Italian explorer set out westward from Europe on one fine day in 1492, hoping to reach India by a westward route as opposed to the eastward one that the travellers and merchants of the day used to travel by. Columbus's logic behind his incredibly brave leap into the unknown was apparently infallible:if the world was round, he would ultimately reach India, irrespective of whether he sailed east or west. And so he set out, Into the Atlantic Ocean. On a voyage that no one, not even his own crew, really believed in.And now imagine the joy of the man when after months in such a voyage, he actually reached land. And found on that landmass, men and women with painted faces and wearing feathered hats. What was he to think? That the place they had landed on was some unheard-of landmass BETWEEN Europe and India?Of course not. Columbus was sure he had reached India, and never considered any other possibility. He came back home with stories of "Indians" who lived in pyramidal tents, shot animals with arrows and practiced rain dancing. And the Native Americans, who had been living in America for centuries before Columbus arrived, became "Indians" in the eyes of the entire modern world.

How can I grow air potato in Northern Indiana?

Yes, you can. If you can get a hold of a tuber, just plant it in a well-drained very sunny spot. You have to dig the tubers to store them over winter and have some to plant the next spring.
