How Can I Have Not As Much Anxiety

How do I get over anxiety?

Hi Rohan,Let me tell you one thing. YOU LIVE ONLY ONCE. So please live it to the fullest.Anxiety is literally a disease to the mind. This is something I come across with a lot of people. MY MOM IS IMMERSED IN ANXIETY.Anxiety leads to overthinking , Overthinking leads to ‘’What if this happened, what if…’’ —- these thoughts are negative thoughts that will consume you and eat your peace of mind. Here are few things you can do :Cultivate positive thinking. (For example, believe that good things will happen to you. Think that you will get good grades for the efforts you put instead of thinking ‘’what if i dont?’’Learn to control your thoughts. Your thoughts are in your control. Dont let negative thoughts come into your mindLearn to be present in the moment. Just go with the flow. Remember and accept the fact that life always does not go as planned. Its ok. Its not the END, its just a BEND.Think about this. Lets take an example. Lets say you are waiting for your results. And you are worried. How did this worrying help you? Did it soothe your mind? Did it get you an extra mark? No. It just made things worse. So Why worry? When you feel this way, always immediately do something that make you feel good or even distracts you. (Listen to a song , play a game or talk to someone !)MEDITATION. Please Please meditate. This really helps.I hope this helps.P.S. There is an APP called CALM. Please try this. It has soothing music and really helps relieve stress or anxiety

How to not have anxiety as a lifeguard?

I'm 15 and I just passed my lifeguard test and am going to start working this weekend. I have really bad anxiety when It comes to the smallest things, I just became a lifeguard because my brother and all my friends are, and it's the closest and easiest summer job. As I get closer to start working I keep having panic attacks about what could happen on the job, I was really bad at CPR and barely passed. My question is how to manage my anxiety and how to be a good lifeguard, in training they taught me how to save people but not really how to do the job well. Please don't say "don't be a lifeguard if you can't handle it", because that doesn't help and I do think I can handle it I just worry about things to much.

Why do I have so much anxiety over not eating sugar?

Okay, I think I can answer this.First, we need to think about the term “Sugar is a drug”, and in a way, it is. It gives you fuel, it makes you addicted to it, and it can change your behavior depends on how much you consume. There is evidence that sugar does change the way your brain works, as proven by two lab rats, in which one was given sugar and the other was not. The one that didn’t consume sugar can move straight, and finding its way out from a tub full of water, while the one with sugar gets confused and moves at a random pattern. This proves that sugar consumption does have an effect on your brain.Second, let’s think about how many sugar you consumed. You may not see it, but it’s everywhere, it’s not just on cakes, cookies or other sweet treats, it’s also on ketchup, juice, and even other salty treats. Just because things doesn’t taste sweet, that doesn’t mean there’s no sugar in it. The number on the nutritional value label is a bit pointless if you ask, since they only mentioned the basic value and excluding the added sugar value. And just like all drugs, if you consumed a lot in a long time, and you suddenly stop consuming it, there’s going to be a few withdrawal symptom. Anxiety is an obvious one, with dizziness, and hunger.Third, let’s look at this from your own well-being. How long have you stopped eating sugar? Do you have a diabetes record or symptoms? Not consuming sugar can cause a low blood sugar level, which leads to anxiety. Did you also took meds that can push blood sugar level? They maybe working a bit too well. If any of these happens, consult your physician about it.Hope this helps!Sources:Hypoglycemia and DiabetesSugar: Last Week Tonight with John Oliver (HBO)

I have anxiety and I love music, but it seems like my anxiety gets worse when I listen to it. I don t listen to sad songs though.?

Try listening to it very loud so that it gives you goosebumps, and the noise will distract your mind and relax your brain. Works well for me, i turn the volume to max on my headphones, its like a concert. Not always possible but it might be something to try.

How many of you have anxiety so bad it affects your sleep?

You and I are in the same boat.

How much does anxiety affect erections?

It can make an enormous difference.

Another factor is if someone is overweight with a poor cardio-vascular system. If the blood aint flowing, then the pecker will remain shrivelled.

Depression often causes sexual dysfunction. Also, many related medications can either boost or lower libido (desire for sex) as well as the ability to get an erection, or even the ability to reach climax.

A good start for guys and girls is to get fit and get that blood pumping. Looking and feeling good improves your sex life and how you feel about yourself generally. Furthermore, better blood flow makes you more aroused and sensitive so a lady can come easier, and the guy can get a strong erection.

Whats the difference between anti-anxiety meds and anti-depressant meds?

I am currectly taking anti-depressants because I did suffer from depression and anxiety. I dont suffer that much from depression anymore, well I do, but its my anxiety that mainly brings it on. My anxiety has gotten ridiculously out of control and my depression has diminished. As in most anxiety ridden patients I know I have very very bad anxiety yet I cant help it. I would like to switch from anti-depressants to anti-anxiety meds but I am curious if anyone knows the difference between the two....as in how does it change your mood, will I feel like I am in a daze ( I took Celexa (anti-depressant) before and I stopped taking it because it made me too relaxed, I wound up paying bills late and being lazy a lot of the time, but I was in a better mood) I am now on Zoloft, low dosage. I would really appreciate some input on this if you suffer from bad anxiety.
