after swimming in either a pool or the ocean you should NOT wash your hair with shampoo .
because your hair is already damaged because of either bleach or the sea. when washing your hair after swimming thoroughly rinse it out with water and then rinse with only conditioner.

try looking up something like "best vitamins". A lot of vitamins out there have a lot of filler. Massive amounts of vitamin C, which your body will just pee out, and stuff you really don't need. I believe theres a book or article out there that rates the best vitamins. Try pre-natal vitamins which you can buy over the counter, they have more folic acid which is great for skin, hair and nails. Add a calcium supplement for bone management and your good to go.

Keep your product use to a minimum and don't wash and style your hair every day. Keep your hair out of extreme temperatures as much as you can. Have your hair cut regularly to tidy up any messy ends. I used baby shampoo recently for the first time (well, since I was a baby) and I couldn't believe how soft my hair was afterwards. Especially since I would say my hair is in good enough condition anyway.
