I came across a question in my statistics homework that I wasn't really sure about. Basically, the question gave us an instance in the "Born Loser" cartoon strip by Art Sansom in which Brutus is happy about an increase in temperature from 1 degree to 2 degrees. Well, here's how the question goes... "Brutus expresses joy over an increase in temperature from 1 degree to 2 degrees. When asked what is so good about 2 degrees, he answers that 'It's twice as warm as this morning.' Explain why Brutus is wrong yet again." So, anyone have an idea?

Women with high prolactin levels?
I've been battling elevated prolactin levels on and off for about 6 years. I had a very, very small pituitary tumor. I have taken bromocriptine also, am currently taking it now. Same thing happened to me, my levels weren't going down, my endocrinologist increased my dosage and the prolactin dropped significantly. I started off at 90, am down to around 15. When my prolactin was elevated, my cycles weren't normal. They weren't as heavy or I had none at all. I seemed to have gained weight when it was elevated, and was moody. Maybe because the hormones were out of whack. Since my prolactin is normal, I can't say I feel much different. Though my cycles are regular now (but very heavy and painful) and I started to lose weight, and don't feel as down. I'm not sure if you're trying to conceive, but elevated prolactin levels can cause you not to ovulate. Good luck with this. :) I've been on and off bromocriptine for the past 6 years.
