How Can I Know Ym Contribution

How would i know if my sss# have active or if had a contribution of my working hour?

It's very easy, you just have to know your SSS Number. I have a simple step by step guidel about this in my blog on how to verify your Static Information, Employment History, your Total SSS Contributions and also the balance of your SSS Short Term Loan. You just have to register a My.SSS Account. To do this, you can check out my tutorial by accessing the links below:

Check your SSS Contribution via Internet:
http://www.bendaggers.com/sss-online-inquiry-contributions/

Check your SSS Contribution through Text:
http://www.bendaggers.com/sms-text-sss-inquiry/

You can also print a copy of those information. After you registered your account, log in and check out your contribution or loan balance and click the "PRINTABLE VERSION/MODE" at bottom of the page. The website will load an new format that can be easily printed.

If you have any questions, just leave a comment in my blog and I'll try to answer it ASAP! Don't forget to like my page, Kababayan! Thanks!

By the way, "Calling SSS IVRS Hotline 917-7777 or 9206446" is useless. You'll be wasting your time. They can't even provide you anything! How do I know? Because I'm from the Philippines and I've tried calling this number.

Salamat po.

Why is the employer contribution to a PF not shown in the pay slip?

The employer contribution is same as employee contribution i.e 12% of Basic+DA . And at the end it will mature with 8.65% interest annually.Contribution made by employerContribution made by the employer also is 12% of the basic salary of the employee. However, this 12% is further subdivided into the following four components –Employee’s Provident Fund (EPF) – 3.67%Employee’s Pension Scheme (EPS) – 8.33%Employee’s Deposit Link Insurance Scheme (EDLIS) – 0.50%EPF Admin Charges – 1.10%EDLIS Admin Charges – 0.01%

I do not see my employer's contribution to the PF on my salary slip. It just says Provident Fund and against it is the amount. Do they mention their contribution in the salary slip?

Usually the pay slip shows only the employee contribution as a deduction from gross salary. It is implied that the employer is contributing equally. Annually the employer will give you a acknowledgment slip from the PF office showing the employer contribution. Please note that this amount will show lesser and the employer contribution is split as3.67% goes towards contribution for EPF8.33% goes towards contribution for EPS0.5% goes towards contribution for EDLI1.1% goes towards contribution for EPF administration charges0.01% goes towards contribution for EDLI administration chargesTherefore, the employer contribution is 13.61%. The premium and management charges are borne by the employer and the maximum limit is set at 0.5% of Rs.15,000. This is when the employee is contributing 12@ of basic to PF.To get the latest status, login to EPFO || For Employees for more details. Check what kind of a PF scheme is adopted by your employer. That will determine their contribution.
