If I "uninstall all" on an Xbox One game, does it delete my save data, or is it saved in the cloud, ready to reinstall with the game?

Three years into the life cycle of the Xbox One, storage space has become a valuable commodity. The base model’s 500GB drive doesn’t seem quite so spacious when your “Ready to Install” list is packed with AAA games that can take up more than 50GB, and almost double that if you’re downloading 4K-compatible games on an Xbox One X.Unless you’ve invested in an external drive to increase your console’s storage capacity, you’ve probably experienced the feeling that comes when you’re forced to delete one of your games to make room for another. If not, the first time can be a harrowing — and confusing — experience. To help you out, we’ve assembled this handy guide on how to delete and re-install your content. It won’t make picking which games to eradicate from your drive any easier, but it will tell you which buttons to press to do so.Step 1From the Xbox One home screen, press the Xbox button to bring up the dashboard, then select the “My Games & Apps” tile.Step 2Highlight the tile of the game you’d like to remove from your hard drive and press the Menu button on your controller. (That’s the Start button, for most players.)Step 3Select “Manage Game” from the pop-up menu that appears.Step 4The next screen is divided into two parts. On the left, you’ll see each piece of content related to the game in question, listed under “Installed” or “Ready to install.” From the left side of the screen, you can also manage any saved data that exists for the selected game.On the right, you’ll see some details about the game, including its file size and a link to the game’s page in the Xbox Store. You can choose to move the data if you have another storage device connected, copy it, or uninstall it entirely. Choose “Uninstall all,” and the game will be removed from your hard drive.Reinstalling deleted gamesIf you want to re-install a deleted game, head back to the “My Games & Apps” screen. On the left, you should see “Ready to Install (X)”, with “X” signifying the number of games and apps you own that aren’t currently installed on your hard drive. Selecting a game or application will automatically begin the installation process, assuming you have enough space on your console. On the left side of the screen, you’ll also now see a “Games With Gold”…Continue Reading

Are people overreacting to eververse in Destiny 2?

It’s understandable that people might be upset about how Destiny 2 handled its experience system and how the Bright Engrams were pretty few and far in between unless you bought them. It’s not as serious as the issue Battlefront 2 held at launch, because nothing in Eververse is actually gameplay centered, being wholly cosmetic. Ships, shaders, ghosts, armor that can lack in areas. Now, people understandably want some items in the game because they look cool or they function amazingly. Eververse lacks all functioning parts the game has besides armor sets, which depends. Recovery is truly the best stat. If a person dumps $100 dollars into the game, all they’ll receive is some interesting cosmetics and flashy armor. But, because Bungie had an issue with the experience, extending the size of levels as to give minimal Bright Engrams and increase the urge to spend in the game via Microtransactions, people act as if the game is sunk. They just wanted some extra revenue thrown at them, which isn’t terrible, because they’re not forcing it upon the player. Entirely by choice, it’s an option. Limiting the experience to further entice is a bit crooked, but the people making a fuss over this issue have nothing better to do than complain.Take the game and play it, have fun, enjoy the graphics, cinematic views, the sky, anything. Eververse is a bonus, rather than a drawback.

Which video game character/villain did you want to kill/defeat the most? What was your moral thinking behind your desire to kill/defeat them? Was it because you wanted to, or because the game made you?

This piece of sh*t right here…Lieutenant General Shepherd of the US Army who led the protagonists for much of the game only to reveal himself as the true antagonist in a bullshit twist reveal in Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2.Shepard had been involved in the events of the first Modern Warfare, commanding a U.S. Army in the Middle East when 30,000 Marines were instantly wiped out in a nuclear detonation. This great loss of life on the part of Shepherd’s army did much to alter his perceptions about the world and morality in general. Disgraced from the loss of his invasion force, General Shepherd was adamant about climbing to the top again and bringing America to the forefront of global politics and influence. He needed to find a common enemy, something the whole U.S. could rally around and found it in Vladimir Makarov. To keep a long story short, this gigantic douchebag leads not one, but several of the characters you play to untimely and twisting deaths. The first protagonist, Joseph Allen, was recruited by Shepherd to infiltrate Makarov’s terrorist cell and participated in a massacre at Zakhaev International Airport before he was executed by Makarov as he was making his escape. Thanks to General Shepherd, Allen gets to die alone, in a reborn Soviet Union, with the fact that his last memories were him gunning down scores of civilians in the name of the U.S.Goals are being met here people. Then you have the second protagonists, Gary “Roach” Sanderson and the ever lovable Ghost “Gaz”, who work on acquiring all of Makarov’s intelligence at one of his hideouts and end the mission about to be transported by General Shepherd. But wait, he fucking shoots you and Ghost to seal his record as a true war hero.Douchebag.It was the most rewarding thing killing him with Soap at the very end. Adding insult to injury was using the very knife he stabbed you with to hit him straight in the eye and kill him.Such sweet righteousness.
