Hold still....you have something in yer hair." Pluck out the offending nit or calmly tell her, "hon, I think you'd better take a look at this. I think you might have lice." Be supportive & concerned, and she won't hold it against you, why would she? I understand it's a social stigma to have "lice" but it's a VERY common thing ANYONE can catch. I have been best friends with this girl for 17 years (since we were 10). Lately she is really getting down on herself for not being able to find a guy. She is gorgeous!!! But... she has two cats that she lets pee on everything, and on top of that she is just a slob in general. I know these guys get taken away by her beauty and then see her house and bolt. How do I tell my friend she can't sing?
My friends and I want to audition for X Factor in the spring, there's 3 of us. Four actually but one of the other girls can't sing. She's tone deaf or something and when we try to sing together as a group she makes it sound off and we're all in harmony with each other and she's singing fifty octaves higher. We recorded just the three of us that can sing and let her listen but she didn't seem to get the message. She records herself all the time but doesn't hear anything wrong with her voice. She fishes for compliments and even says, "I sound bad, right?" for us to say, "No you sound great!" but we don't say anything. This has nothing to do with jealousy, we just honestly care about her and don't want her to embarrass herself or us! This is something we all want to take seriously and want to move forward with and we don't want this to be ruined all because of her. We would teach her but that really would take a lot of time that we don't have. HELP!
