How Can I Track And Stop Scamming I Got Scammed Out Of Money And This Person Is Still Scamming

How can I get back my lost money from a scammer?

There are so much internet scammers especially on dating sites. I was scammed on a dating site last year, couldn’t let it go because I borrowed the money and it was a huge amount of money. Contacted all I was asked to and still couldn’t get the scammer. Had no choice than to hire a private investigator and a hacker who saved me from debts. Learnt my lesson never to give out money to anyone on dating sites after all I went through. Search for Gary Cobb’s blog here on quora and try contacting him. I can’t put up his contact details here for security reasons.

How can I get my money back from western union I have been scammed?

Once the money has been picked up on the other end, I hate to say this, but you’re shit out of luck on that one. Problem with Western Union is that it's not FDIC insured nor were the funds wired to a bank where they could reverse the transaction for you. If the funds were wired to a bank or that person’s card, they wouldn't be able to undo it. What you can do is file the police report, then notify both the location you sent the money from and Western Union and they both will fill out a SARS report on the receiver and this will get the FBI involved. If it hasn't been picked up, you could call Western Union and cancel the transaction. Hopefully you weren't crazy enough to give the MPN Number to the scammer.

How do i track skype scammers?

Sorry to read that you lost money to a scammer running a scam but happy that you found this site to post your story.

Thanks for posting up that information on a scam.

Making a scammer's scam googlable on every scam-warner-anti-fraud-busting site you can find is a great way to slow that scammer down when a suspicious potential victim goes looking for information, finds your post containing the name the scammer is using, his email address, phone number and the emails themselves and then that potential victim does not become a scam victim because you took the time "get the word out".

Wasting a scammer's time legally and safely is called "scambaiting". If you google that word, you will find sites where you can read scambaits, post up the emails and email addresses of scammers, post up a fake website, read up on how to alert a hosting company that they are hosting a fake website, ask questions and learn all about the hobby of scambaiting.

Since that scammer intended to steal your money, he did not give you his real life information. All you have is one of his fake names, one of his free email addresses, one of his fake stories and one of his paid-for-in-cash cell phone numbers. None of that information is going to help your local law enforcement agency track down that anonymous scammer sitting in a cyber cafe half way around the world from you.

Can I trace a scammer that scam me of money with the little info I have?

The question is too broad and too lacking of detail. If I were looking for this person, my first question to myself is what I'd want to do if I found him/her. But, that aside, I have tools at my disposal, plus experience, that the average lay person doesn't or should ever need. Still, even I may not be able to identify the scammer, depending on how hard he/she tries to hide. And if, when I found the culprit it may be hard to impossible to extract reparations, as it were.My best advice: if the loss is not too great, try to.put it past you as a lesson learned. File a police report. If you pay income tax, this is helpful because you can actually write off losses by theft. Homeowners insurance also sometimes has provisions for theft, although claims of loss by theft are usually highly limited to a few hundred dollars.Good luck.

Can someone trace you if you scam on paypal?

Paypal has a positive link to him via some credit card or bank account, right? So they know or can discover his real address, not just an IP address that might or might not be going through a proxy.

That means they can send the law after him.

In the real world, there are real consequences to our actions.

Hope that helps.
