You can't transfer photos through the USB cable. With the enV3, there are 3 ways of transference. 1. Using a microSD card, as you said. 2. Texting them to your email address. 3. Connecting your enV3 to your laptop or desktop using bluetooth. I use Bluetooth because it is free, so I don't need to go and buy a microSD card. If you have Bluetooth on your computer, simply connect and pair the 2 devices to each other, and then go to a picture you would like to send to your computer, click on 'Options' on the phone, hit 'Send,' then click 'via Bluetooth.' Then you will select the device which you would like to send it to, which in this case would be your computer. Then your computer simply receives the file wirelessly. You can also send photos to your phone also using Bluetooth. You just right click on the photo, hover over 'Send to,' then click on 'Bluetooth Device.' You would then select the device, which would be your phone. Bluetooth is also a way of sending photos and videos to other phones for FREE. You can also transfer music and videos to your phone. If you have an old phone that is bluetooth enabled, don't let it go to waste! You can use it as a digital camera and simply send the photos to your computer or your current phone so that you can share them, and keep them forever! Yeah, iTunes and iCloud...I would try these first before I drudge through the manual process. Also noting the obvious, 16gb is really just 13.6 so all of that old 32gb stuff isn't going to fit.
