How Can I Upgrade My Router To Wpa2 Network

Can a WPA/WPA2 Network see the browsing history on an Iphone?

The internet router said WPA/WPA2.
I am just curious if it can see the browsing history on an Iphone.
Some people say you cant even track the history on an Iphone, others say yes.
Its a rather old Iphone (Iphone 2 I believe)
So it does not have private browsing in the settings.
Thank you for you answer.
Serious answers would be appreciated. :)

How do i set up my Belkin Wireless Router with WEP/WPA/WPA2?

When i click the security tab (on the router set up page 192.168.2.1), there is a dropdown box with "Disable, WEP, WPA/WPA2, WPA Only"

When i click any of them the page keeps on loading for about 5 minutes and then comes up with a page like "page cannot be displayed"

Does anyone know what the problem is?
Because i really need some sort of security on my Wi-Fi connection

Xbox360(s) cant connect to WPA2-AES or WPA-PSK networks?

My xbox360 couldnt connect to our wifi (wpa2 aes) so i changed the security to wpa psk, still get the error i got with wpa2 aes. Its not the wifi password because the password is correct because I get the error when i test the connection, i get the "theres a problem with your connection" error. The router is a arris tg862 (xfinity). What should I do to fix this problem? I am not changing my wifi to security to wep. Thanks in advance!

How can i connect to my WPA2 AES network?

I have the Atheros AR5001X PCI mini wireless adaptor version 5.1.1.9 and i just set up a new router using WPA 2 Aes but i cannot connect to it wirelessly im running Windows Xp SP3 and ive tried everything ive even updated the Driver for my Net card im stumped any help?

What does this mean (Router)?

IMPORTANT: WPA-PSK [TKIP] may only operate at "Up to 54Mbps" (legacy G) rate, not N rate. NETGEAR recommends that you use WPA2-PSK [AES] to get full N rate support.

Is this just security? Will this effect my router's wifi connection.

Does WPA2 encryption work with the XBox 360 Wireless Network Adapter?

According to the Xbox360's wireless adapter website page:

"Note:
Some copies of the instruction manual for the Xbox 360 Wireless Networking Adapter state that the adapter is compatible with the WPA2 security standard. At this time the adapter works only with WPA and WEP security."

Lots of people have tried due to this error in the documentation, but i have never heard of anyone successfully setting WPA2 up with the Xbox360. I know my friend's will not connect to his Linksys WRT54G router when WPA2 (AES encryption) is used. WPA (TKIP encryption) works fine though. Usually WPA is still secure enough for the average home user. (But maybe not the paranoid Uber L33T gamer).

Edit: I just checked and there is actually a version of WPA that uses AES encryption which will also work with the Xbox360. (If your router supports it.) WPA with AES uses the same "fancy" encryption technique as WPA2, but leaves out some of the comercial authentication methods supported by WPA2. Since home users are mostly using Pre-Shared Keys (PSK) comercial authentication methods don't matter.

Thus, WPA with AES is the way to go for the most secure Xbox360 compatible wireless network.

What is the difference between WPA2 and WPA2-AUTO?

WPA2-Auto means that the router will first try a connection using WPA2, and if that fails, it will fall back to WPA.

This can cause problems in some cases; if using this setting isn't reliable, then try either straight-up WPA2 or WPA.
