How Can Lifestyle Choices Affect Our Health

What are some lifestyle choices that can affect your health by decreasing blood flow and increasing blood pres?

having an inactive life style and eating a diet high in salt and fat.

What affects your food choices?

Money. It has always has affected my food choices and I have been screaming about it for years. If I had the money to buy the healthier foods, I would. My family does not eat out at fast food joints hardly at all. And they claim this is one of the reason of the obesity problems. NOT. No one is looking into the fact that not many people cannot afford the healthier foods, therefore making unhealthy choices so that their families have something to eat.

Can our lifestyle affect our future kids?

Can our lifestyle affect our future kids? Yes, your lifestyle today will affect your future children. In fact everything that you do now will impact the rest of your life. Who you are when you decide to have children will a combination of all of your own experiences. I personally feel the best parents are one’s that had to struggle, where they made mistakes and had to overcome them and when things didn’t come easy. They are in a better place, with lots of life experiences to help their future kids navigate their own world. The other way that “lifestyle” now will have an impact on your future children is your health. If you are taking risks with your health now you might be impacting the health of your future children. A healthy lifestyle now will also mean a healthier you as a parent and grandparent.

How does media influence your lifestyle choices?

They affect our choices a lot. Media are giants in today's society, no generation today wasn't born with the media as a background noise. I don't use the word noise pejoratively, but to show the extent to which we were all conditioned to have the media around since babyhood. We all learned to live with them, and more often than not, we learned to trust them at first glance. I wrote on another question how we all have internalized the reflex to trust whatever is being told to us in a professional, assertive tone, and under the banner of an institution such as a TV Company or a newspapers. I have also added on that question that the media aren't inherently a bad thing, but that it is our system that make them so. No matter which country you live in, Western or not, there is a high probability that the media aren't telling you everything, consciously or not. And the problem is that since we trust these media, and that the youngest of us will usually trust them even more, we are almost raised with the ideas they pertain whether we like it or not. It is up to us to educate ourselves, to read through different sort of media, to compare articles of different organizations that are in conflict on the same topic, etc... we need to form our own opinion, because as to this, I can tell you without a doubt that children, teenagers and even adults, trust the media to tell them how to live and how to think. Even the most transparent media aren't completely impartial, nor are they almighty. Media today shape culture more than it should : we become accustomed to take for a fact everything it throws at us whether we might agree with it or not after reflection. Things such as gender roles, what you should do of your life, what you should wear to look beautiful, what you should not do so not to look like a looser, etc... not to mention the harmful stereotypes it pertains on certain minorities or about certain topics. Media are no longer an option for anybody, we must think for ourselves as a reflex or they will influence us invariably. So the question no longer is : how do media influence us? But mostly : what part of existence the media do not influence us about? A much trickier question to answer.

How can I maintain my physical health in today's lifestyle?

Yes, it is very difficult to maintain physical health in the current lifestyle. Because we are very busy in our daily routine and we forget our health. But without maintaining physical health, you will not live perfectly. You need to do yoga or exercise every-day.Otherwise, when you face any chronic pain such as back pain, neck pain and more then you know where your health is gone. Being a chiropractor in Etobicoke, I have given effective treatments using gentle techniques for over 30 years for whole patients who are experiencing these types of problems. If you or your family member experiences some kind of problem, visit our website or call @ 416-818-5155But before that, I suggest you make a management sheet with including exercises. Because no one can make your plan. It is decided by you what you want. If you want to fit in physically, it obviously maintains your health.Good Luck!

How does a high income negatively affect our lifestyle?

That statement is not a rule of thumb and their are people who can control money and a healthy balance in their life but you have a good question here because in general a high income does have negative effects on people.Money becomes your obsession and people start to become arrogant, greedy and takes your mind of things that matters like your family, friends, religion and other natural things. Its a vicious snowball effect where the more money you make the more you want and you will never ever have enough.Theres a common misconception where people think that a person with millions must have no worry in the world and can hand out large sums of money to everyone with a smile on his face but I promise you now that $1 000 000 to the super rich is worth more for him than the same amount for the average middle class person. The trauma for a multi millionaire to lose a million of his fortune is similar or worst than it is for the middle class to lose it.Money (or lack thereof) is the root of all evil. The Bible says that its harder for a wealthy man to get in heaven than it is for a camel to go through the eye of a needle (needle being a small passage in the caves of Israel where camels could only go through on their knees).
