I will never be able to get him to the doctor but I can't just watch him like this! please HELP!

Help! MY NOSE HAS BEEN BLEEDING FOR ALMOST 50MIN NOW AND WON'T STOP!!!!!!!!!!!!?????????!?!??...

Okay first of all, I always get them. I've been getting them since I was young, and I normally and sometimes get them at night when i'm sleeping, so I would wake up and my whole entire pillow and half of where I put my head would be covered with blood. It's terrifying. I hate blood because of a incident I had when I was younger. Enough about me.
1) Get a cold tissue and put that at your nose, then tilt your head back and look at the ceiling. Keep your self wet, because sometimes you would cough up blood - I almost had to. I don't know how, but you can. If you can taste the blood boiling in your throat, and it's warm and stuff, you might want to skip to answer 3 right away
2) Tie a stretchy headband or something skinny and stretchy (not a elastic band) and tie it around your arm, I prefer right arm.
3) If the bleeding doesn't stop, and you feel faint, GO OUTSIDE and get fresh air. It worked for me when I was light-headed and about to faint.
4) if all didn't work, stay outside with your head tilted back, with a cold cloth in hand (basically all the answers at once). If that doesn't work, you might want to consult a doctor/hospital.
5) Most importantly, make sure an adult is with you at all times. If nobodies home, go to a friend's house. It's very important just in case you faint, or feel sick to your stomach (etc. etc.)

I hope you get better, and at some point it must go away!

Is there any way to stop my dog from bleeding nose and mouse?

Yes it is true and you must monitor carefully when the time has come to put him out of his misery.

I really do not think that a vet is going to try and remove a tumour of the type you are describing and especially on an 11 yr old. People please be realistic.

This tumour has obviously grown inwards as well as outwards for the blood to be coming down his nose.

No there is nothing you can do except not leave him in anguish and pain.

Stepped on cat. quick nose bleed but stopped.he eats but wants to sleep?

My cat is 2 months old and i accidentally stepped on on it. There was a quick nose bleed but it stopped after i cleaned it up. He drinks his milk from the bowl and sleeps. He is not very active now. he has a series of tiny bumps under his neck, but i dont think any other issues.I have problems getting to a vet because of where i live. Is there anything i can do from home? should i be worried? It has been about 30 mins since i stepped on him. Immediate answers would be very appreciated.

Why would a person bleed from eyes, ears, nose and mouth? He was found dead in a pool of blood.

Each of these can have separate reasons. What looks like blood coming from the nose and mouth, we call purge fluid, and can happen even in natural deaths with no trauma. Zoe-Anne Barcellos' answer to When blood oozes out of a mouth after death, can we conclude it as a murder, if so? But this amount is fairly minor and would never be confused with a ‘pool of blood.’Of course, if someone has trauma to (or inside) the mouth and nose, that can also cause blood.I have never seen blood come from the eyes when there was no facial trauma. I have never seen anything that looks like ‘tears’ of blood. When I recover corneas for transplant, the decedents eyes will sometimes bleed if they had extensive CPR, but never before the incision.Blood from the ears usually indicates an internal head injury. A certain type of skull fracture to the base of the skull can make both eye black and swollen. We call these ‘racoon eyes’. It looks as if the person was hit in the face.If someone was found in a ‘pool of blood’ I would suspect trauma. If they had a laceration to the scalp, and were lying face down on the floor, it would run into the face, and when the were turned over, it may look as if the blood originated from the face.Anyone found in these circumstances would be a Medical Examiner /Coroner case, and will most likely get a full autopsy or external examination.Original question:Why would a person bleed from eyes, ears, nose and mouth? He was found dead in a pool of blood.

How can I stop the bleeding inside my dog's mouth?

Hold pressure on a laceration that is actively bleeding. Continue to apply pressure until the bleeding stops. Use a soft, absorbent cloth such as an old washcloth or piece of toweling. Make sure it is as clean as possible so that you don't introduce dirt or germs into the wound.

Is it normal for a nosebleed to last hours, losing a pint or two of blood?

Your friend might be having posterior nosebleeds.Anterior nosebleeds come from the front area of the nose (the cartilage that separate the nostrils) and are much easier to treat. Posterior nosebleeds involve the large vessels in the back of the nose and will bleed longer and heavier than anterior bleeds.I’ve had anterior nosebleeds, usually from dry sinuses, and I’ve had a posterior nosebleed. My anterior nosebleeds took about 20 minutes, at most, to get under control and involved minimal blood loss.My posterior nosebleed was the result of a severely dry and irritated nose (I live in Atlanta where we’ve been getting the smoke from the wildfires) and a massively deviated septum (It’s congenital and has been this way since birth, it doesn’t affect the cosmetic look of my nose, the ENT said fixing it would only partially help my getting colds and sinus infections). It lasted from about 1AM to about 5:30AM and my nose, face, body, pajamas, and bathroom looked the scene from the Shining with the river of blood coming out of the elevator. One of the larger vessels in the posterior section had gotten irritated and burst. It had finally stopped on its own, with what the doctor said was likely about 16oz of blood lost, which is about a pint.I’m not saying it’s definitely what your friend had, and I’m not saying it’s not, but it does happen.

I keep having nosebleeds during sex....:( what does this mean?

During arousal, the blood vessels inside your nose can become engorged, just like the blood vessels inside the penis. There could be a few reasons why your nose is bleeding. The membranes in this area can be thinned or dry. Try using neosporin or bacitracin ointment in your nose to help keep the area moist. If this persists, I would see an ENT (ear nose and throat) doctor. He or she can take a good look into the nasal cavity and see the area and/or problems more clearly.
