How Can You Get A Flat Stomach If You Have So Called

I can't get a flat stomach?

A couple things that can cause this:

1) Your posture and spinal alignment. Has a chiropractor or medical doctor ever looked at an x-ray of your spine or otherwise checked your spinal alignment? Having abnormal curvature of the spine can definitely cause what you're talking about.

2) A combination of weak ab and back muscles. This can particularly be the case with women who basically starve themselves to lose fat, and also don't get enough protein. The starved, weak muscle look in women isn't attractive, either. It also can lead to bad skin, and irregularities in the subcutaneous layer of fat that women have. Either way, the answer as to scenario number two is to do some weightlifting and eating adequately and start doing abdominal workouts with crunches for mid to upper abs, and leg raises for lower abs.

3) Highly unlikely but nonetheless possible: a medical problem. In other words, when's the last time a doctor pressed on your abdomen as part of an exam?

Patrick, she already said excess fat isn't the problem. Cardio will do little for her in this area if it's not fat, even if she's on the treadmill five days per week. Bodybuilding (ab exercises, etc.) and adequate protein and proper diet is what would help for weak or atrophied abdominal and back muscles (if that's what it is rather than he spinal curvature or something else).

How can I get a flat stomach? I'm so close!?

Kay so Im 17 years old, 5'3'', and weigh 1-3 pounds. Im UNDERWEIGHT! And i know its unhealthy bc i dont get my period anymore (its been about a year and a half since my last one)

My legs and arms are skinny and in great shape, but im SO flat chested and my stomach is gross! My lower stomach bulges out and its quite annoying ;/

How can I get rid of this fat!?

First off let me say that I too was once a fat kid in school. There's probably going to be some answers here about loving yourself for who you are. Those people are probably already skinny and can go to hell. Life in school became unbelievably better when I lost weight.

Four really simple things you can do to lose weight. Not easy mind you, but simple.

1. Don't eat crap. No chips,ice cream, cookies,excess amounts of margarine, all that stuff that you know is bad but you eat anyway. You don't have to eat healthy, just stop eating garbage.

2. Drink only water. Ever.

3. Get twenty minutes of exercise a day. Doesn't have to be full on running. Don't worry about optimal heart rate blah blah blah. Just do something active for twenty minutes each day.

4. When you fail and relapse, because you will, especially at the beginning, shrug it off and keep going. The first time I went outside for a run I lasted about 30 seconds. I then proceeded to eat four bags of lays. Keep at and don't give up and eventually you'll lose weight.

In grade ten I weighed 280. By the middle of grade 11 I weighed 190. I read somewhere that healthy weight loss is 1-2% of your total body weight per week but I never paid attention to that. I lost weight as fast I could. Hope you can do it too kid. Just whatever you do don't give up.

How do I get a flat stomach WITHOUT exercise?

Sorry to say, but it is pretty much impossible to get flat stomach without exercise.

BUT, there is a shorter way to get flat stomach just by doing few minutes of exercises every day!

First you have to jog or jump rope for 30minutes at least. (try jump roping while listening to music, its really fun). 2nd you need to eat healthy, never drink soda, candies, fast food, and eat lots of fruits and protein. 3rd, do some ab exercises to make your stomach tight.
