How do i add the sounds to my instant messenger?
if sounds are enabled... Messenger > Preferences > Alerts & Sounds (left hand column) make sure there is a check mark beside Enable Alerts and Sounds click Apply then you you can use any .wav file you stumble across, lots of ppl have custom ones like movie themes, cartoon characters etc.. can grab them from any .wav collection site, a quick google of wav files... http://www.google.com/search?ie=UTF-8&oe... should get your started :) once you have the ones you want to use just... I know others like facebook have an instant messaging or chat type of service available, but i am now addicted to tagged, and i really dont like leaving endless tags and waiting for comment/message responses. I would like to chat in real time to my online tagged friends, but it seems that i have to give them my AIM or YIM name and chat thru there, which i dont really like doing either

When did AOL start instant messages?
I got my own email address in... I believe 1999. At that time, I didn't have many friends and only my best friend had email. We were young and had different lifestyles, so the likely-hood of us being on at the same time was slim. We did email back and forth and I used the internet quite a bit, but that was the extent of my AOL use back then. I don't recall ever using or having any recollection of instant messaging until a few years later. I know it actually predates the internet, but did AOL always have it? Or was I just unaware and/or have lost all memory of it?
If texts I'm sending say not delivered does that mean the person has blocked my number?
