How Did Martin See Zimmerman

What do you think about the Trayvon Martin case? Is Zimmerman guilty or not guilty?

Guilty 2nd degree murder. That's what I think he is. Not sure what the jury will decide.

There are major flaws with his story. First, he claims he feared Martin. If that's true, why did he follow him?

His story of the alleged fight doesn't fly either. He claims Martin broke his nose. If that's true, why wasn't his blood all over his shirt? He didn't see a doctor right away, but claims his head was bashed into the sidewalk repeatedly, even though his injuries don't support that. Why did he refuse medical attention - especially with an alleged broken nose? Why did he refuse to go to a specialist?

He claims that Martin was sitting on his chest, pinning his arms, while bashing Z's head into the ground. Yet Z claims he was able to pull out the gun (then why didn't he stop Martin?) and shoot Martin in the chest. Try it and you will see the angle is all wrong. He could have shot Martin in the side, but not in the front. And if he did that, why was there no Martin blood on his shirt? Finally, he claims he rolled Martin off of him. If that's true, why was Martin found face down on the ground. If you roll someone off you whom you just shot, they would be face up, not face down. He also claims he stretched Martin's arms out. Why? That was also a lie; his arms were found under him.

He also, from the very beginning, had no reason to suspect Martin. The kid was just walking home. He said it was suspicious that he was looking around, but most people look around when they are walking. Especially late at night.

With all his lies, I can't believe anything he said and the evidence points to Z shooting Martin while they were standing up, which means he was not bashing Z's head into the ground.

Why did George Zimmerman chase Trayvon Martin?

No one has suggested that he chased Martin at all.

It has been stated that he followed him to see what he was doing that is different than chasing someone.

The reason he followed him is that there were recently burglaries in the neighborhood, the suspect matched Martin's description and Martin was observed walking through people's yards and peering in their windows.

Why does the media make Zimmerman, a white and Trayvon Martin into an innocent victim?

We see, every day, in every city, horrific black on white crimes, that are ignored by the liberal media, because the story does not favor their agenda.

If this story had the races in reverse, it would have the same 24/7 coverage as the Casey Anthony event.

Seems the race baiters are so desperate to portray a news event, to support their civil rights agenda- getting even with white people, the media and race baiters decided George Zimmerman is not a Latino, he is white. They also portray Trayvon Martin as an innocent school kid who is a victim of racism. Huh? The reason Martin was in a neighborhood, he didn't live in, he was staying with his dad, suspended from school.

Look at how Trayvon followed the thug role model, worshiped by liberals and their media, with the tats, pot smoking, ghetto references, grill and attitude.

http://the-american-journal.com/trayvon-...

Color blinded liberals point to Zimmerman as the predator because he followed a suspicious character, despite police dispatch telling him to stand down; SO, that entitled Martin, to attack Zimmerman and try to beat his brains into the concrete? Only a liberals logic could justify Martin attacking Zimmerman,

Why do we accept the race baiting media's view that the Latino is white and Martin is an innocent child?

Facts about the George Zimmerman/Trayvon Martin case?

My Background 10 year Police officer.

Their was an eye witness who watch the whole ordeal go down. He stated to the law enforcement that he witness Zimmerman in red getting pounded on my Martin on the ground screaming "help me!" repeatedly. The witness also took the initiative to yell "stop it and get off of him!". Moments later Zimmerman pulled out his weapon and fired while laying on the ground. Zimmerman was told by 911 operator not to pursue the suspect. Keep in mind 911 operators are not Peace Officers nor do they have any right or authority to tell you or recommend you from doing anything. The liability that comes with what they say can ruin their career. For instance: if someone is trying to into your house and the dispatcher said to hide in your closet and don't grab any weapon because it might escalate the situation with the intruder. Would you listen to those instructions? Shooting justified.

Zimmerman is a proactive elected neighborhood watch member to over see his community. Keep in mind people the D.O.J. allows community to Police themselves under the Community Oriented Policing (C.O.P.) policy. Deadly Force is authorize for everyone in this country to prevent Severe bodily harm, death, or death of others in the U.S. Period. It does not take much hitting for a 6'2" weighing 175lbs young man to give you a concussion or brain hemorrhage or even kill you with his hands. Zimmerman had a firearm, if he felt that young Martin was going to receive the upper hand if he gets to his gun then lethal force is also authorize in this situations under the circumstances to protect his life and a life of others. I've seen too many kids in my time get caught carrying a stolen firearm to commit their crimes. If a young kid like Martin tried reaching for my firearm in a physical fight I would have done the same thing to keep my weapon from getting into the wrong hands.

Profile:
Trayvon Martin was 6'2" football player in his prime, with a violent past at his school.

Zimmerman was 5'9" overweight and not in physically fit condition

If Trayvon Martin had won the fight against George Zimmerman and killed him with one punch, would he have been presumed innocent (via stand your ground) given that Zimmerman is unable to provide his side of the story?

It's telling that the premise of this question has Trayvon Martin, a slightly built teenager, somehow strong enough to kill a man with one punch. Even well-trained fighters can't ordinarily do that. It plays into the fear of black men as criminal supervillains. Zimmerman certainly had that view, which goes a long way toward explaining why he shot Martin.Had Martin walked away from this altercation rather than Zimmerman, it's safe to say that he would have been arrested and charged with murder quite quickly. He would face trial with a legal presumption of innocence, but it would be hard given the circumstances to avoid a conviction for one charge or another.

Why did you support George Zimmerman during Trayvon Martin’s murder case?

His name is George, not Andrew. And why would I support him? Simple. Straightforward. At the time he pulled out his gun and fired, Trayvon Martin had him pinned on the ground and was beating him relentlessly. All the bullshit in the world from the ‘other side’ doesn’t negate that fact, proven in court. He didn’t have to ‘perceive’ a threat; he was being beaten. He also had been calling for help and no one came and stopped Martin. This is one of the most justified shootings I am aware of. There was no question he was being severely assaulted. The only debate is from people who think he ‘deserved’ to be beaten and had to just lie there and endure it. Those people are absolutely nuts. They’d sure feel differently if someone had knocked them to the ground, jumped on their chest and hit them over and over, picked up their heads and smashed them on the concrete, and continued the beat down. They would sure like to have a gun and get out of that beating if they could. But they don’t think Zimmerman had that right. And apparently those people think Trayvon Martin had a right to react violently and beat Zimmerman to a point. So, there it is. Make a black person mad, he has a right to beat you and you have to endure it. That’s the logic of the left. You’re at fault for pissing off the black person.

How is George Zimmerman guilty?

The prosecution has done a poor job in my opinion. Would anyone make a compelling argument why George Zimmerman is guilty.

Here is what I'm aware of;

1. Zimmerman is the neighborhood watch person. He is aware that there have been many burglaries.
2. Zimmerman sees Trayvon walking behind people's houses. It's raining, yet Trayvon continues to stroll around the neighborhood. He looks suspicious. (This is NOT racial profiling)
3. Zimmerman calls the cops. He get's out of his car and looks for a street name sign. Trayvon believes Zimmerman is trying to stalk him.
4. Trayvon confronts Zimmerman and breaks his nose and bangs his head on the concrete.
5. Out of self defense, Zimmerman shoots Martin.

I believe that this is a self defense case. Zimmerman was obviously injured by Martin and needed to use force to save his life.

What evidence is there that Zimmerman murdered Trayvon???
What evidence is there that Zimmerman racially profiled Trayvon?

Did Trayvon Martin really attack George Zimmerman?

So you are saying Martin is a mutant...a psychic? Somehow he had the power to read Zimmerman's mind and know that Zimmerman had a gun and that he suspected him.

Let's reframe the scenario to the context of what he could actually know at the time.

Martin knew he was in a strange neighborhood.
Martin knew that he was doing suspicious things (wandering through yards, looking in windows)
Martin see's an adult drive by, in a gated community, and start watching him suspiciously.

At that point what did Martin know?
All he knows is that he was just caught doing something wrong.
Based on testimony from Martin's GF he also was angry and expressed strong racist sentiment about Zimmerman.

Now what could he have done if he were afraid?
He could have gone home.
He could have called the police
He could have called his Dad.
He could have done any number of things.

But he didn't do any of those things. Why?
Because he wasn't afraid he was angry.
And he did what an angry person does he attacked.

This is supported by all the evidence.
We know that he has bruising on his knuckles consistent with repeatedly punching something.
We see the damage to Zimmerman's face and head.
We have witness testimony stating that Martin was on top punching Zimmerman "MMA style".
Other than the GSW and offensive injuries Martin has no injuries.

Is George Zimmerman guilty of killing Trayvon Martin?

Yes he's guilty of killing Trayvon. He's admitted to doing so. The bullet in Trayvon came from his gun that he was holding when the cops arrived.

The question is...was this shooting somehow justified as either self defense or under Florida's vague "stand your ground" law, or was it 1st degree murder. 1st degree murder carries a very specific set of requirements that the prosecution must prove to the jury in order to get a conviction.

We don't have all the information so it's impossible for us to make this determination.

Zimmerman claims Trayvon attacked him, so he shot in self defense. Ok...that would make sense except that we also know Zimmerman was following Trayvon - against the direct advice of the 911 operator he was on the phone with at the time. This strongly indicates that Zimmerman intended to confront Trayvon - but by itself does not prove that he did. If Zimmerman did indeed start the fight as it were, can he still claim self defense? After all, based on what we know of Trayvon's actions that night, he was not looking to confront Zimmerman. In fact he was on his cellphone with his girlfriend and told her he was scared because he was being followed. If Trayvon felt threatened by Zimmerman, might it have been Trayvon - not Zimmerman - that was acting in self defense? In this case Zimmerman would probably be found not-guilty of first degree murder.

Trayvon was on his way back to his step-mother's house. He was visiting them, so he was not a resident of the neighborhood. Zimmerman and Trayvon did not know each other therefore any information about Trayvon's previous behaviors is irrelevant here. Furthermore, as a member of the neighborhood watch, it was never Zimmerman's job to follow, let alone confront, Trayvon. The only "suspicious" thing Trayvon was doing was walking back to the house.

As I said there are a lot of details we're missing, and honestly we're never going to know the fully story because Trayvon can't tell his side of the story.

I think the jury will find Zimmerman not-guilty. The cops didn't do a proper job collecting evidence at the scene, and have already been accused of changing witness' statements. It's basically going to be OJ Simpson all over again.
