How Did Superman Get Beat By A Bat With No Powers

Could Batman beat Superman? ?

I'm a huge comic fan and I always wanted to see Batman beat the crap out of superman and they always tag team together.. even tho superman has powers I think Batman would beat him.. what do u think?

If Batman had similar powers like Superman, would it be more of a fair fight?

This was answered in Superman/Batman #53-56. Batman gained all of Superman’s powers, and Superman gained all of Batman’s. . .which was nothing at all.Superman trains Batman in the usage of his powers.Batman’s relentless drive allows the power to consume him.The entire Justice League tries to stop Batman. . .. . .to no avail. That leaves Superman to stop.Which he does in a manner reminiscent of TDKR.Batman with Superman’s abilities doesn’t work, as the Batman is an individual whom has pushed himself to his limits. Superman has no limits. Batman’s mentality with Superman’s powers just makes for a villain in the making. That’s hardly fair to anyone.

Who would win, Batman or Superman with no powers, no weapons, no kryptonite, and just combat?

Joker: “Good question, DC Fangirl and one other person!Let there be a referee of course! Me!Now Batsy! Two fans of yours wanted to test out this! Behold! The biggest punchline you’ll ever face in your history, Bruce!” said Joker showing Batman and Superman the piece of paper with instructions.Superman: “If this is a death wish, I’m not willing to put Bruce in danger!”Batman: “I’m flattered, Clark. But we have to do what the audience wants!”Joker: “Heh, heh! High five Batman! I meant high fiving my five senses, which you could see! Heh, heh, heh! Lolly pop!”Batman takes off his utility belt.Joker gets Substance to suck away Superman’s powers.Superman and Batman start their fight.Superman punches the air.Batman flips onto Superman to not get affected.Batman screams in Superman’s ears because super hearing only comes natural for Superman.Superman falls to the ground.“Batsy my home coming buddy, wins!” said Joker with his hands out.“Which brings you into the next punchline! Substance, get rid of them!”Joker from our world: “You do realise you didn’t create him! My friend and I created him with our imagination! No more sore losing, Joker! Where’s the fun in that? What you’re sore, you don’t score unless your trying to save someone or the world from a massive piece of rage and hatred!”Joker: “I suppose you’re right, sugar plum fairy!”Joker from our world: “Stewed plums at nice! They’ve probably got better taste then those wanting to give a wedgie to air fresheners!”Joker: “Nice one! But it kind of lacks the punchline for me! Sob!”

Who's better, Superman or Batman and why?

Hey, thanks for your answers! But I feel like an idiot 'cause I left out that Batman is dark and mysterious. But just to start an arguement, (and not say that Superman is better) why does Batman have Robin?

Can Batman really beat Superman?

No batman cannot.Batman realistically cannot beat anyone from the JLA either.Batman “beats" people due to PIS, plot devices or plot armor and bad writing from (usually) bias writers like Frank Miller.Batman can do nothing to superman, he would instantly die.“But what about kryptonite?”I'll explain:Green K effects superman by emitting radiation that gradually weakens him. The level and speed of depowerment is based on length of exposure and substance amount. For superman, an exceedingly powerful kryptonian due to him being under the yellow sun for decades, you'd need to bury him in an island of green K for a few days for him to be batman weak. How much green k is on earth? About the size of a football, and since krypton blew up? Ain't gonna be anymore soon.So a “kryptonite ring?” (plot device) wouldnt even tickle superman. But there's another problem here, radiation travels at 90% the speed of light, superman is several (billion, according to some outlets) times FTL.Batman's reflexes? Not even mach 1.So what happens? If batman somehow acquired an insignificant amount of green k (ir any color k) superman kills him before he can clench his jaws. There are billions of ways superman could instantly kill batman, right off the top of my head superman could fly the batcave (or Gotham city) into the sun a d there would be nothing batman could do about it.In a fight without PIS? No plot armor? No absurdly elaborate plan that somehow circumvents supermans abilities allowing batman to win?It would look like this:Or this…Or this…Or thisIn this one batman was bloodlusted, had prep, and kryptonite bullets…He lasted 3 seconds…Point made

If you were given Superman's abilities, would Batman beat you?

If you think you could win, you might be slightly underestimating Batman, but you are completely underestimating Superman. What do I mean by this? Well just imagine getting all of Superman's powers, then remember you have none of his the control. You aren't slowly adapting to slowly increasing powers like a normal Kryptonians, you are starting off already with the powers of a Kryptonian who has spent 35 years under a yellow sun. In other words, God mode with no training. The first step you take, releases shockwaves levelling your neighborhood. Heck, the first breath you take levels your entire neighborhood. Since you haven't spent an entire life learning how to use these powers, your body will subconsciously use the same proportianate level of strength it always has. Superman can lift the entire weight of the planet Earth, like you lift a piece of paper, so not realising that, imagine using your powers. The second you hit something, no matter how much you think you are holding back, your entire local area has been hit by the equivalent of a nuclear bomb. Sorry, but truth is, you could not possibly, after a few seconds with a power, have the same subconscious self-restraint of someone who has learned to control it their entire life. You would be a walking weapon of mass destruction, before you even realise it. But let's focus on the fight. How do you get to Gotham? Do you run there, knowing one footstep too fast, and you are moving fast enough to split atoms (BOOM!). Do you fly there, knowing that if you land incorrectly, you accidentally knock Earth into the Sun (BOOM!). Or do you walk as slow as possible, meaning Batman can come and defeat you (It's hard to believe Batman wouldn't have noticed you, what with all the BOOMs you would have caused by now). Would you really fight back, considering if you do, you risk destroying the Earth? I would just take a dive, and hope the powers return to their rightful owner after. Besides, Batman doesn't even need that charity. I have ADD, so throwing in all of Superman's superhuman senses, and there is no way I, or realistically anyone, could completely avoid getting even slightly distracted. Completely distracted by powers and casualties caused + Incredibly stealthy Batman = Kryptonite bullet to your chest. Simple Math. Batman wins.

Why does Batman (in most versions) always beat Superman?

There are some things people don’t understand about Superman.1.-Superman is not a god.Thor is a godWonder Woman is a demi godesssWhat’s the difference? The attitude.A god sees himself above mankind. Superman, for all his power, does not.And he certainly doesn’t view himself as better than Batman. In his own words he is just a farmer from Kansas. The moment he viewed himself a god would be the moment he would stop being superman.2.- Superman didn’t just rest in his laurels.Batman became a hero out of tragedy. Superman became a hero because that’s the right thing to do.Many people take it for granted. But the first impulse of people with powers like him wouldn’t be to dedicate them to help people. Many would use that power for selfish purposes.Or to try to rule the world. While he tries to find the cure for Cancer.3.- The obvious: Yes Batman is an underdog.I agree on the other answer in that Batman being an underdog always makes writers favor him over Superman. But I would argue Superman is the real underdog given how many bat-centric authors don’t understand what makes Superman special (ex Frank Miller) only use him to make Batman look good .Hint: Powers aren’t what makes superman special. Characters with superman powers are dime a dozen.Hyperion from Marvel has all his powers and I couldn’t care less about him.Even I as a big Superman fan admit, it does make a more compelling story.4.- Superman doesn’t want to harm Batman.Truth is, of all the superpowered people that would gladly crush Batman, Superman isn’t one of them. He always holds back.Even the completely corrupt evil superman of Injustice doesnt want to kill Batman.Yes even Superman would like Batman to beat him if he ever turned away from the light.Superman is not someone that relishes on power like say Thor. He is much more than that. Don’t take my word for it.If Clark wanted to, he could use his superspeed and squish me into the cement. But I know how he thinks. Even more than the Kryptonite, he's got one big weakness. Deep down, Clark's essentially a good person... and deep down, I'm not.-- BatmanHis fellow Super powered colleagues aren’t as kind as him.Just ask Thor:Or even Wonder Woman.I get it. No one has worked more than Batman to be where he is.But my point is that Superman is not a superpowered bully that believes himself to be superior to Batman. He is more than a punching bag.For those Batman fans out there, I invite you to see past his powers and see the man that wields them.

Why do Batman fans hate on Superman?

Superman fans like Batman too but
Batman fan boys hate Superman.
They always say "Oh Batman can beat Superman no problem" and I'm like
um Bats and Sups are friends, why are you fighting them against each other?

How long would Superman without his powers last against Batman in a cage match?

Check out the roster of the Justice League in any of its recent incarnations. Which one of those members isn't like the others?Yep - The Batman. And yet he’s the most feared among the league members. Why? Because he’s human. And he has to go up against foes way more powerful than him. The human body has limits and Bruce Wayne has pushed his to all known limits - strength, speed, stamina etc. But Bruce has the one asset his super-powered friends don't really need much of - The human brain.Batman is a thinker. Why is he so quiet all the time? Because he’s always thinking. Always strategizing. Always troubleshooting. He’s like a top field general living inside the body of a special forces soldier. In Justice League Doom, the bad guys took down all the superhuman members based on contingency plans drawn up by Batman (They stole it from the Batcomputer.) Now this is something Batman came up with to take down his super friends (sorry, had to go there) when they still had all their powers and abilities. Just imagine what he could do if all of them didn't have their powers. Not just Supes mind you; the whole team.Clark wouldn't stand a chance. I'd say Bruce sleeperholds him five seconds flat. He could've done it in less time but he wouldn't want to hurt his friend too much.
