How Do Dunkin Donuts Make Payroll

Should I apply for this Job at Dunkin Donuts?

Your social security number identifies who you are to the IRS. You need that number so your employer can deduct taxes and you can file at the end of the year to get some of it back. If you don't have your number, hopefully one of your parents have it. If you've never had one you need to apply and get one.

IS dunkin donuts training paid?

Who makes and who pays for the manufacture of Dunkin' Donuts when Dunkin' expand into a new country?

This may not have all the details but I'll give it a shot. Some companies usually formulate and prepare their own Dry mix and this is true for  most of the big brands. These dry mixes, like a dry mix for the donut, can be shipped easily all around the world. This helps in consistency and maintaining the same taste all over the world. So a small unit of Dunkin' Donuts receives this mix, prepares the donuts at the shop itself which gives you the same taste and keep the product nice and fresh too. As for the glazes, they too can either arrive packed and sealed- partially made or ready to use; or alternatively are made at the facility itself according to the formulation of the company. I doubt the second part though. The other way is how pizza and burger chains operate. They establish factories or collaborate, keeping the  legal implications in mind, with the best factories already in production to adhere to their standards and demands. These industries are divided by area and locality. For example, all the dough for a particular pizza brand, in India, is manufactured in Thane, Mumbai and then shipped frozen to all the small and takeaway outlets/Franchises in the entire western region. Franchises also give extensive training, followup of how well the standards are maintained including record books, reports etc and most importantly inspection. They also ensure all methods are in compliance to their Food Safety certifications and are followed exactly. At least, they are supposed to.I am unaware of what Dunkin' Donuts model is, but may be one of two.The final product manufacturing is done at the particular shop itself. The staff are trained for it by the owner, the owner by the brand. I hope at least I have been of some help.

Starting a job at Dunkin Donuts on Monday...?

I am 19. This is my second job, and the first one where I feel legitimately afraid. My first job was being a helper/assistant at a local flower shop. I got it simply because my grandmother is great friends with the owner. I didn't have too much interaction with customers, and while the environment was very hectic - the fact that my family knew the owner kept me from being too scared.

But now I'm starting at Dunkin and everything is changing. I feel like I am going to mess everything up! Monday morning is training. From what I've seen online, training takes a few days of work. That alone scares me. Is there really so much to learn that I'm going to be there for countless hours trying to learn it all?! Failure or making crucial mistakes is my primary concern, and I know my anxiety to this will be very easy to see until I get settled in.

What should I expect? Do you think I'm overreacting? I have severe anxiety and mild ADD (which in turn leads to more anxiety), and I am so scared that everything will overwhelm me and I'll end up ruining everything. I know this sounds ridiculous, but I had a dream that I actually messed up so badly that I actually killed a customer because I gave them something they were allergic to, ending in a murder charge and me being behind bars for the rest of my life lmao. No, that's not even a joke. I know I worry too much, but I'm so scared that I won't do well.

*Again, if you've worked at Dunkin, what exactly is the deal with training? How many hours a day does that take? I feel like learning it all shouldn't take much more than a couple hours...

Does Dunkin Donuts fry their doughnuts?

Yes they are fried. Either they come to the individual stores from a central kitchen or they are fried, frozen and shipped to the store to be defrosted in the baking oven.

What are the most popular kinds of donuts at Dunkin' Donuts?

I worked at a Dunkin Donuts for a while. Usually the one that sold the most by far was the boston cream donuts, followed by the glazed donuts (which a few people here said). I seem to remember the vanilla frosted donuts did pretty well too. When there are the limited time donuts (like brownie batter and cookie dough in February) those naturally sell fairly quickly.  Jelly generally sold the least for some reason.  Again, this is my experience at the one where I worked as well as visiting other dunkin donuts locations and seeing which ones were sold out. So it might not be exactly like this everywhere, just around here. Especially because different areas have different donuts that others don't have.

How much would you expect someone working at dunkin donuts to make a month?

Minimum wage is defined by hour, not by month. I think you are confusing the minimum wage with the poverty level. Minimum wages change by state, but where I live in Il, it's 8.25 per hour. At that rate, if you work full time (40 hours per week), you'd make 1320 in two payroll cycles (4 weeks). If you work part-time, it could be substantially less, thus your friend telling you you're below the poverty line. Every employer has to post a sign in the breakroom listing the minimum wage. You should look over you paystub and make sure you're being paid accurately.

Do all Dunkin' Donuts franchises offer their employees direct deposit?

They should, however some managers deem the paperwork to be a neusiance
